Watched the first half last night, could well have been 3-0 by that stage. Dyche is doing an impressive job in generating chances for a striker-less side, but it's fairly painful watching us spurn chance after chance. Though I reckon it should have been 2-0 to be fair, VAR overturning one that didn't look clear to me.

Important win, need to keep going.

Couple of tough matches coming up. Need to pinch a few lucky results still if we are to stay up but these 3 points were massive in keeping hope alive.

Wonder how Richarlison is feeling right now. Not done much at Spurs and probably knows if he stayed he could have been a bit of a survival hero for us again. Regardless of how he left, why he left and what's happened since, I'm sure there's a part of him that wish he'd stayed - or come back on loan in January.

That aside, it was a damn good showing against Brentford and could have scored a couple more.

May be close to ridding myself of this club for good. It’s no longer a football club and all identity has been lost. Relegation will be near fatal, it will lead to administration, a points deduction and probably a 2nd relegation, probably never to be seen again. The new stadium will be useless and probably end up being sold to the government

I 4-1 can’t believe I got up at 4:30am to watch that, expecting nothing and still end up being terribly disappointed.

Liquidate this club and put us out of our misery. When we lose to Leicester it will basically confirm relegation, so only play the youth team and whoever might stick around for the Championship. No need to play and risk injuries & sale value to Pickford, Onana, DCL and Iwobi.

The few we can sell will go for unders due to relegation.

The rest will stay because who would want such an abject pack of losers?

I can see the squad being largely the same next season and they won’t have the mettle for the Championship at all. We won’t be close to coming straight back up.

How are we feeling after the mob from across the park did us a favour?

We know it's all in our hands now

Still feeling very nervous about it all and even though we lost 3-0 to the probable champions, we didn't look terrible or massively out of our depth against them. At least we have hope

Being in our own control is probably for the best, instead of relying on other teams. We could lose both remaining games and still stay up, but we will surely take it up to Wolves. Their form is patchy and we still seem to have some sort of confidence after the Brighton game. Just hope DCL is fit.

I have a feeling we'll beat Bournemouth on the final day to secure safety. Wolves have been okay recently, so not expecting a win to be honest.

Not confident that even a draw against Wolves will do much but anything helps. A win would probably all but seal it, especially if other results go our way.

We better not, I'm in Nashville so have no internet other than wifi. I'll be walking around doing this:

DCL and Patterson injured first half and losing 0-1 to Wolves hahahahahaha.

Everton that. Going to snatch relegation from safety right at the death.

Not replacing Richarlison and relying on that permanent injury card - well done you pack of idiots.

Everton 33 ( GD -24 Goals scored 33 )
Leeds 31 ( GD -27 Goals scored 47 )
Leicester 30 ( GD -18 Goals scored 49 )

Now Leicester will lose to Newcastle at St James park so the scenarios going into final day are this.

Everton: win and we are safe, draw and we need Leeds to not win by 3 goals against spurs. Leicester can't catch us if we draw. Lose and we need both L's to not win.

Leeds: need to win pure and simple, as above if we are drawing they need to win by 3 goals to be safe on goals scored.

Leicester: need to win pure and simple and hope Everton lose and leeds draw or lose.

On the off chance Leicester pull off a miracle vs Newcastle, actually i don't even want to think about that scenario so lets not. Them not winning means it's in our hands and that's a scenario i prefer rather than winning and still needing another result go our way.

This would be preferred. Newcastle should want to take zero chances of avoiding a slip up so should be going for it to seal CL qualification, they are in good form and at home - they will want to do it there.

I’m going to through all the nightmare scenarios in my head after their game tomorrow morning. Essentially only needing a draw would be the most ideal situation.

It's just relief isn't it, it's not the same as last year at all.

Sack the board, get new ownership and get an effin striker. We cannot be in this situation again.

Yeah, let’s never do this again thanks. Feels super hollow compared to last year. If real **** off Carlo tho…

Let’s get some bloody consistency back from top to ****ing bottom. Get some cover for DCL and some more options up forward.

Thank **** we are staying up. Little blue pills keeping us up again. UTFT

I thought this would be a good idea to watch on mushrooms... certainly is an intense experience and that goal was downright orgasmic. 10/10 would not recommend.

Watching it on pills would have been okay. Could have just called a loved on if it had gone bad. Or just admired the upholstery of your couch - depending on which way it hits
