Watching it on pills would have been okay. Could have just called a loved on if it had gone bad. Or just admired the upholstery of your couch - depending on which way it hits
It was horrific when leicester went ahead, real downer stuff but the Docoure goal and then pickford save felt better than anything. It was essentially a gamble on amplifying a great feeling vs the applifying the inverse.

Looks like Ashley Young is coming in on a one year deal.

Not the first signing we were hoping for (forwards FFS) but I don't mind this, saves some pennies and he played plenty for Villa last year, a team that is much stronger than us.
Certainly wasn't on my bingo card of signings but he is experienced, kind of that Delph/Barry signing of yester years.

Gnonto would be a good get, seems likely we'll land him according to reports.

Only turns 20 this year, has PL experience and gives us a bit more flair up top which is what we need.

Jack Harrison seems like more of a Dyche signing than Gnonto I reckon.

Yeah I'm on there although different alias, I believe ossie_21 does as well.

For a while I thought Brades was Davek.

I requested my GOT account to be banned, so have stayed away. Wasn’t doing any good with us struggling so badly.

I might return when we start heading in the right direction again, it’s the same as my self-imposed ban on this FA forum (but will I occasionally post in this thread). Based on our start to the transfer window, it’s going to be just as much of a struggle as it has been the last 2 years, if not worse.

Cannot say I blame you. It's a difficult period, a lack of signings is going to look bad but how many transfer windows have we had in the past which look amazing at first and then ultimately turn out a bit crap.

I'd love for our youth to come on this season, we've been a bit old & slow for a while. Can't say I'm expecting fancy football under Dyche but stability is more what we need at the moment anyway.

I got banned from the West Coast FB page for saying we'd be better off without Priddis.

Then we won the flag the year after he retired.
I didn't do any swearing or anything, I was just saying he was shit and we should be looking elsewhere and they have their favourites, called me a redshite etc. The internet is full of immature people.

We made a signing!

Dominate the first half. 0-0 because we didn't sign a striker on time and DCL is broken already. Fulham score on their first shot on target.

The club can absolutely GAGF. Actively hate them at this point.
Between Everton & West Coast, sports just isn't treating you nicely lately CC.

Go back 3 years and I would have said we played well and if we keep playing like this we'll do be fine. I just don't know anymore. We play like shite and scrape a 1-0 win. We play quite well and create plenty of chances and lose 0-1.

I was livid last night, woke up today still extremely annoyed but will hold judgement until next weekend after seeing Villa get smacked.

Next 3 games are all very winnable if we have a proper ****ing striker. Leno was unreal to have made all of those saves, Maupay actually could have come away with us thinking he was decent but was just not clinical enough yet again.

It was the same old story. Miss multiple clear cut chances, concede a scrappy, shitty goal, flat crowd, awful ref and walk away with nothing.

Jack Harrison had his medical, Villa swoop in and he's signed with them.

You couldn't make this up after what happened with Danjuma, it's happened again the very next window. Our club is actually so shambolic.

So frustrating. We controlled the game really well at times and created some bloody good opportunities. As usual, we don't take those chances then the other mob go down the other end and score

Also, that overturned goal for us was a bit suspect. Would I be annoyed if the boot was on the other foot and it had been given? Probably - you always look for a reason for it to be overturned, however, there wasn't a lot in that. Tarks didn't really do a lot other than hold his ground (and I don't think there's much more - or less - he could have done to avoid anything being called other than going to ground)

Mentally weak bunch of campaigners that can turn it on for teams much better than us in Arsenal and City but have no idea how to play against teams slightly better than us (or in derbies for that matter)

Yes, we were unlucky against Fulham and could be setting on a point or even 3 points had we taken a couple of chances and the ref let our goal stand, however, we were horrible against Villa. That pen was never not going to be called after what happened to United last match day, even if ours was much softer than that and didn't really affect anything
