Just comedy isn't it. Been the better side against Fulham/Wolves/Sheffield and we'll walk away with 0 points. Cannot believe how unlucky a team can be.

Pretty much expected that ball to go in at the end because the Ref didn't blow the whistle.

It just about did as well. We should have won that game, we've now won the xG in 3/4 matches and have 1 point to our name. Everton.

Beto looked great, shame we couldn’t really get him a proper shooting chance

Midfield too often went walkabout, sort the awareness out FFS. Caught out of position a few times and got them the equaliser and nearly the winner late.

Couple of tough games next, Arsenal & then Brentford away. Hopefully get something before home games to Luton & Bournemouth which will be massive, that really ****ing hurts to say this early in a season.

1 point combined against Fulham, Wolves and Sheffield is a disaster tbh.

Yet we are only 3 points behind both Chelsea and Newcastle. Long season

We should probably be another 2 or 4 points to the good, though (should have beaten Fulham and drawn against Wolves). Villa game looks like an outlier, but again, long season. Couple of tough games plus both Luton and Bournemouth at home, let's see how we are after the derby

Don’t know what to make about the 777 deal.

Instead of one idiot with dumb decisions, we will have a company of idiots making dumb decisions and questionable what their end game is out of all of it.

On the positive side they must be confident of no points deduction, on the negative it will absolutely destroy the club one way or another if there is.

This ****ing club hurts my soul these days.

Yeah I'm just a point where I'm quite numb to Everton.

It's like watching death before your eyes but it's ongoing and slow. I hope that this ends up being a turning point in a better direction but I can only be pessimistic when it comes to Everton nowadays.

Only way it could get worse is if we get relegated (though as others have pointed out that could be a blessing in disguise). And being relegated was always on the cards anyway? A new owner isn’t suddenly going to make the players play better or the manager get us to win more games.

It might get the fans less focussed on the shit show that has been the way the clubs been run for the past decade and get them more behind the team? Who knows

Or it could be same same but more protests and more anger. And the same shit we had to fight against last couple of seasons - it’s Everton after all

1 point from 15.

3 goals for 3 points. Take it but it’s against an awful Bournemouth side.

It’ll be another season where I think there’ll be 3 sides worse than us but we won’t be much better.

Not sure if Dyche is the play long-term but we need stability with our list and manager position before making drastic decisions again.

Hi all, Not sure how many of you are MVFC fans but I encourage you to listen to this podcast:

It's a deep dive into 777 partners from the perspective of MVFC. You may or may not be aware but 777 partners currently own 20% of Melbourne Victory with an agreement that they will eventually own 70% within 5 years. I do have an insight into this as I have contacts within shareholders on the board. Some do not want 777 partners getting their hands on further shares, while some are convinced by their project. They are currently trying to get their hands on shares owned by the estate of Metricon Homes owner Mario Basin who passed away suddenly last year.

Currently these guys are going through the process of fit / proper with the PL to purchase your club. They need to raise 200m + in capital within 3 months. Be aware that they are leveraged quite heavily. The last thing anyone wants to see is these guys take over and end up using Everton to leverage against other investments. We had that experience at Liverpool witih Hicks & Gillet who couldn't get credit after the financial crisis. It's something I would not wish upon any club's fanbase.

Hope this helps.

We are so much better this season than our position states. Young’s first yellow was shit and the 2nd was a dumb tackle, but it should have been 10v10 (or 10v11 with this ref) for a large chunk of the game. Who knows what might have happened, they only got on top after the red.

It’s so hard to keep passionate when the refs are so, so bad and biased in this league. I’d love to be one of the Sky 6/7 that are looked over ridiculously well and get given everything.

Konate getting pulled a minute after he should have been sent off and then Dyche getting booked for calling them out tells you absolutely ****ing everything you need to know.

Gonna say it but I think we might go down even though we're a better side than the last two years.

It reminds me of the Lions in 2017 when Fagan came in. We were far worse under Leppa the two years prior but never got the spoon. Fagan comes in, we're better, have a better percentage, more wins and walk away with the spoon lmao.

For whatever reason, we've just had so much go against us this season. Maybe we've used up all our luck in the last few seasons but we've just had zero luck so far. Need to create our own luck and keep fighting, if we keep playing around this level we should be fine but I just have a weird feeling.

Yeah, we actually look a lot better. It’s less long balls over the top and more trying to pick out someone in the box. Lots more fight in them too. Pen was there. Red card was there. But soo many fouls by Liverpool either waved play on or no cards shown. They’re scared of making the wrong call. Wrong calls are usually better than no calls at all - isn’t that what VAR is for, rather than the other way around?
