Looking forward to seeing how their turds let us down again tonight.

Already confirmed DCL not playing - what a waste of time.

If Keane starts (or Maupay) so help me God.

They’ll think of something I’m sure. Pickford red card. Hit a penalty over the bar. Something fun I hope

I have a headache. We're obviously going down this season and I'm not sure if I want to watch it happen for the next 36 weeks.

Bunch of ****ing idiots. Couldn't hit the side of a freaking barn.

Bring on relegation. Bring on protests to give Kenidiot and Moshiri the arse. Burn it all down.
They could hit the side of a barn door, they'd just meant to be aiming at the cows.

I honestly don’t know how much longer I can do this guys. The last couple of seasons were close to breaking me, but this start is horrific.

0 goals in 3 games for 3 losses and we haven’t even played anyone in the top 6

I feel you. A large part of me just wants to not watch the games this season and come back when we're in the Championship.

But I always tune in in hope that something happens. The off-season gave no hope, we're still a financial mess and truthfully I just don't feel like we're the Everton FC that I fell in love with two decades ago. It just doesn't have the same aura anymore, it's all so negative and stressful.

We used to be a club that was plucky, we'd try to punch above our weight against the Top 6 and hold our own easily against the rest. We'd fight for Europe every season and demand nothing but the best. What do we even stand for now, what are our goals, avoid relegation?

I'm fine with teams in sports going through periods of crap, the Lions were terrible for a decade and you stick fat but Everton are more than just terrible, it's completely toxic.

I'm fine with relegation now, I think the last two seasons prior to this has almost eased me on it but it's the manner in which we go down that is important to me. Just bloody fight til' the end and if we fall short, then you went down trying.

Stolen from Reddit.

Years gone by I'd look at this and feel lots of hope but truthfully not sure if it'll matter much when we regres to the mean in terms of shots created. Still, gives a flicker of hope that with Beto coming in, we can finish our chances and start getting points on the board.

Yeah, that gives us a slight glimmer of hope for the rest of the season if we get Beto and can get some minutes in to our other strikers (including DCL). I only half-watched the Villa game, however invested time in to both our home games, where we created an insane amount of chances, that someone like Pippo Inzaghi would be having wet dreams over. Our wingers need to up their game though, as they whipped a lot of balls in that Wolves just gobbled up.

Sheffield United will be a big test to see how we are tracking. If we concede 3 or 4 like we did against Villa then we are royally ****ed. However, if we play like we have played at home, create lots of chances and hope we keep one of theirs out and nick one ourselves, we might be okay

We are Everton though so we will probably get dumped out of the cup and lose 1-0 against Sheffield United to a VAR penalty (while having another goal chalked off ourselves for a dubious offside)

One less player for Bradesmaen to rant about with Iwobi gone

Maupay, Gbamin & Cannon all out as well and no ins was a bit disappointing, but thankfully I’m mostly numb to the Everton pain these days.

I’m almost positive this was a balance the books exercise, now hope to survive and the rolling 3-year FFP thing will be a lot better in 12 months.

We had a large squad, had to thin it.
