Yeah, Beeb site is up to lap 6, and a gap of 3 secs is what it's showing. No real shock. Barring a mistake or a breakdown, Sainz ain't taking a home win.
If Sainz finishes ahead of the Mercs and Astons, that's a good race for him. RBR is in a different league this year.

Bullshit there is no penalty for George. You must be able to go off the track and overtake 5 cars whenever you want now.
Lol, because he technically got the move done “prior” to leaving the track, it is all fine, despite the fact he was never making the corner, it gave him extra distance, not to mention a much higher closure speed that led to further overtakes.

The cool conditions doing wonders for the McLaren. Doesn't bode well for the next few months though if they still suck when it's hotter.
Pretty spewing for Lando, really could have been on for a good day for McLaren.

Everyone always says how Lando could be a WDC driver, and I don’t disagree but he does seem to be caught up in quite a few racing incidents. Need to see how he goes actually racing other drivers because he’s mostly been in a position for his career where he’s clearly ahead of the bottom of the pack but behind the front so he generally just runs his own races in clean air with no one within 10 secs of him either side 😂

Hamilton's possible advantage over Sainz will be fresher tyres, and maybe, just maybe, avoiding the need to stop twice. Knowing Ferrari, they'll pit Sainz again just for fun.
