Ok I'll do it, just for interest sake... so last 10 starting from Canadian GP - not including DNF's (in brackets)
Perez 8.75 (2)
Ric 12.3.(0)
Tsunoda. 13.9 (2)

My point wasn't really about the numbers. It was that using finish place averages is a meaningless stat in a competitive motor racing context where quali and other factors over a race weekend come in to play, damage from collisions, team strategy, different tyre strategies, different upgrades etc.

Especially if you then go and pick a non-random set of races to do that simplistic and non-relevant arithmetic calculation.

I mean why was 'the last 10 races' picked? Why not the full season stats including qualifying grid position and points gained over the full season? Pretty obvious it was done to get numbers to sell a narrative.

Anyhow, we all know why Danny was retired and why Perez and Tsunoda keep their second tier seats with RBR. And race outcomes is just a very small part of that story.

Give it another 18 months and my bet is they won't be called Alpine either

Ric losing his seat was probably the right move but how the **** does Perez keep his???? Man he must be bringing in what 50mil+ in cash?

Ric still had moments of brilliance but was to inconsistent so i can see why they moved him on.

His sponsors must be amazing.
