"Dear Diary,
Today we went down to Lawnseston. There was grass.

Also. Hawthorn are really good, fit, and strong, I must go there to learn how they did that. But Rhode has told me I've got another 5 years to get these 44 divers as flexible and nimble as possible for the next Olympic games.

God I love my job!!!"

Very noticeably we were nowhere near fit enough to run with them and maintain the man-on-man style that Hocking promoted pre-game. Equally, our inability to break their tackles and free the arms and moreover to hold our tackles was telling.

Russell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Falloon.

Must get someone decent in at the end of the year.

Burgess in, sets regime, incoming coaches up all KPI's by 15%. Anyone not meeting requirements doesn't play. Ild happily find ourselves in Essendons situation with a heap of over use soft tissue injuries for the next two years, because eventually we will .e strong enough..

"Dear Diary, woke with a start this morning. Turns out I've been calling Brent Renouf "Brett" all year. I don't feel too bad though, he's been calling me "Dick". I don't have the heart to tell him Dick isn't short for Cameron."

Falloon's performance epitomises the acceptance of mediocrity at the club.
Would be good to see the club cut him this week due to the poor fitness shown in today's game.

"Dear Diary, the players we're angry at the club today as they said the fitness and strength coach is not getting them to an acceptable level, I'm going to ask Rohdey tomorrow who he is and I will chat to him and get him on track."

"Dear Diary,

Today I woke up with a start and realised I forgot to put the bins out last night, but then I noticed that it was still only the 3rd quarter and remembered that I had plenty of time to so."

No wait, thats from my diary.

Port raced to a three-goal lead during the opening exchanges and Hocking put this early success down to his side's ability to pressure the opposition.

Seeing that same intensity fade, however, was one of the most disappointing aspects of the afternoon for the former Geelong great.

"Tackles were up and (not) being able to sustain that over four quarters was really disappointing," he said
