Martin Tyler's call of Sergio Aguero's goal to win Manchester City the Premier League last year.

'AGUEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Jim Durham calling Michael Jordan's "The Shot" over Chris Ehlo of the Cavaliers in 1989:

"The inbounds pass comes in to Jordan. Here's Michael at the foul line, the shot on Ehlo...GOOD! THE BULLS WIN IT! THEY WIN IT! They upset the Cleveland Cavaliers! Michael Jordan hits it at the foul line! 101–100! 20,273 in stunned silence here in the Coliseum. Michael Jordan with 44 points in a game hit the shot over Craig Ehlo. What tremendous heroics we have had in Game 5. From both teams, what a spectacular series this has been. In my days in the NBA, 16 years, this is the greatest series I've ever seen!"

"At the back of the pack, PUOPULO, right across the face! Gee Bruce that was ambitious! Mackie, down to 35 seconds finds Duncan; They'll run the outer side. Goes short to Johnson, Johnson has it got the carry?! Arriving quickly but not in time was Sewell! Selwood looks up, KICKS TO HAWKINS! And Hawkins has marked right on the 50! He's kicked 5, down to 17 seconds. If he misses and kicks a behind if he gets the distance, you'd think it's all over...Hawthorn can control the footy. Clock continues to run. He'd want to freshen up here. Kick's on the way, siren's gone, THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!! THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN - THE CATS!!! HOW ABOUT THAT! THE CAT IS STILL ON THE BACK!"

Awesome call that one.

This is why Commetti is the best - not only witty and clever, but at the big and best moments like this one he calls it brilliantly.

Yup, this was one of the great sporting moments, the whole last 5 minutes. I hate City but have this on IQ and watch it every other week and it gives goosebumps.

CBS golf commentator Jim Nantz has a great economy of words.

In 1997 after Tiger Woods final putt in his first Masters made him the youngest ever winner, it was a record low score and a record margin of 12 shot victory he said
"A win for the ages"

In 2001 when Tiger Woods won the Masters and held all 4 Majors
"As grand as it gets"

In 1986 when a 46 year old Jack Nicklaus won his final Major and 6 years since his previous one
"The Bear has come out of hibernation"

2000 PGA Bob May sinks a 20 foot put to force a playoff with Tiger - who won and was part of his 4 in a row
"Yes you May"

2002 PGA Rich Beem wins
"Rich (pause) and famous"

The ones that stick out for me. " youv'e gotta take the boy off" after John Bourne from the pies floors an ump. And rex hunt commentating on ablett snr against Collingwood, as the ball gets kicked to him in a 1 on 1 with Kelly ..... (Screaming) ABLETT!!!!! Ball still sailing in the air ( screaming louder) ABLETT!!!! As ABLETT takes the mark.......Rex, says in the dullest, monotone voice... ablett...like it was always going to happen, loved it! Great commentating.
Best from a different sport, cricket-Geoffrey boycott remarks while watching Brian Lara play that he named his daughter Sydney after he maid his maiden century there and Michael holding says in his deep voice without a sense of sarcasm " thank god he didn't make that century in Lahore"....

Richie Benaud talking about the newly installed lights at Adelaide Oval: "...apparently they take 30 minutes to reach full erection.......................... and appropriately at the crease, Nathan Adcock...."
Things went quiet in the commentary box for a while, then Bill eventually started up but with an even more tremulous voice than usual.
