Team at the moment, I think most will stay the same expect for some of the reserves. Midfield is pretty weak but that's where I'm gonna do most of my upgrades

I'm running a little late this year, and work is going to kill my DT/SC year.

1 question. When i go onto Fanplanner to do my team, i have no options for any GC players.

Am i missing something?

Lake will be underdone. Gibbs, Deledio or Goddard to replace him.
Murphy huge risk, will he improve anymore? He's 28yo, can't see his scores increasing.
I'd completely start the midfield again. Get a couple of high end premiums, a gun or 2 and the rest rookies in there.
Goodes and ROK in the forward line?
Greenwood shouldn't be considered.

On a positive note, selections like Callum Wilson could ay handsome dividends as not many would have him
 
I would give my thoughts on another team but all seem to be answered, thoughts on mine would be muchly appreciated.

I myself see flaws in this team but i think that would be overided by an expected increase in this years salary cap

A few points:
1) This is how I would like to line up Rnd 1, so that is why Gold Coast rookies are on the bench

2) Obviously this is just a plan

3) I am looking to put O'Brien in there, possibly at the expense of Walker, but I'm not sure on either. Walker has a heap of talent and just needs to overcome his injury woes, where as O'Brien is reliable but hasn't had the scores yet. Hopefully a bigger role and maybe even stints in the midfield lifts his scores

4) Again obvious, but these rookies are just the common ones, will have to watch NAB cup form

5) Haven't looked at when byes occur yet so will fix a few things up

6) This team is different to what I have posted elsewhere as I have changed it many times as I can't really do much at the moment

Not a bad side mate, but think youll find Hodge isnt available in the backline, also Grima has a bulging disc in his back and had surgery. Im not convinced Gaff, Smith, Atley, Wallace will play round 1. Guess the NAB cup will see. Swallow also wont be in round 1 as gold coast have the bye.

I have covered my ruck division comprehensivly at this stage , but could change that strategy as there is still a long way to go though!!

Thanks for the feedback and the heads up on Grima. TBH though, I've just thrown this side together quickly. There'll be some (a lot) of tinkering before round 1.

I'm not sure I'd describe having the chronically injured Hille and Petrie both facing massive question marks for the coming season to be 'comprehensive cover' LOZ...more like asking Lady Luck for a bit much. ;)

Maybe risking only one (if any) is a more sound strategy?

Tippet in the fwd line can be used as well in the Ruck ala comprehensive.
will probably go another rookie for either Hille/Petrie??

Not a bad effort mate. I probably wouldn't go both swan and pendles in mids due to the bye. I would consider having a bit let cash on the mid bench also and if possible bring another premium into the forwards. Otherwise nice team and a little unique.

Also i have 3 B/C's in my backline but none in my midfield.
Do you think it is neccessary to have a B/C in the midfield?

It's not necessary but it helps with covering byes, especially if you have 2 or more players with a bye in the same week from the same position.

Anyway your team is looking fairly solid at this time of the year. You'll know more about rookies etc after the NAB Cup. I wouldn't spend too much time on your team until then.

Jed lamb won't get many games this year, Henry playfair has a couple of videos on sydneyswans.com.au an from what he says about lamb on the video I wouldn't put him in the team
