Oh, why didn’t your role of 2nd ruck/resting forward work. You tried your hardest and the club certainly put the time in for it to succeed.
The game against the Giants this year in Canberra was a very telling game. You were promoted to 1st ruck due to Paddy’s indiscretion the week before, With your tireless rucking we were able to have a small scoreboard lead at three quarter time but then the wheels fell off in the last quarter as their multitude of talls were able to take over. You were completely stuffed in the last quarter.
Anyway Jacko, all the best for the future.

Could you tweet him and ask him which tip he will be unloading his Port gear at? And what time?

You planning on growing about 36 inches so some of it fits?

Felt like for a while there that when he didn’t play we didn’t win. All the best and thanks for everything you did for our club.
Very true. An example I remember is when the 2nd Showdown in 2014 (and the subsequent games) turned for the worse after he went down injured. We really struggled without him.

Thanks for your hard work and loyalty Jacko and good luck.

Best outcome for club and player. Thanks for your commitment over the years Jacko. As average a season as it was, 2016 showed how competitive and hard working you truly are.

Jacko’s going down in late 2014 cost us top 4 and likely a flag. He was the rock on and off field when we desperately needed one. He’ll always be welcome at Port.

Players are told to stay away from the likes of BigFooty, but FishingRick04 please point the great man to this thread, so he knows how much the fanatics have appreciated everything he’s done and been since joining us.

Not too many people come through the doors with that much heart and soul. Done absolutely everything he could for the club. Even just the little things like commentating on the intra club matches and the way he interacted with the fans. What a legend!

Was a great player for us. Very unfortunate that you lost your spot. And will always be a port Adelaide player.

Above his onfield contribution, his key commitment to us at the end of a coachless winless dark period speaks volumes of his character and belief in our club. Thanks JT
Hope you succeed and further your career except in games against us ;-).
If someone in contact with you on this board presents you a framed print of this thread as a fan memento I'm happy to chip in!

Of all the players that stuck with the club, he was the best of them all. Not because he was the most talented, but because he was the one that truly understood what it meant to be a Port Adelaide player.

No matter where you go from this point forward Jackson, the club will leave a light on for you. Even in Bulldogs colours you're welcome back any time.

Well done big man, all the best to you, champion

Weak flog mummys boy...

Ooops wrong board.

Thanks for everything Jacko. You were a big part in saving my club from oblivion and it will never be forgotten.

You will always be welcome at Alberton and always welcomed back to Adelaide Oval.

I for one will take task with anyone in my bay booing you (even when you inevitably rough up and niggle one of ours).

Best of luck at the Doggies and if we can't win the flag I hope you do.
