I don't have a dog... but when we had one when I lived at mum and dads, I never picked up the shit when I walked it

It's a ****in dog, they shit, deal with it.

As soon as I see my dog shaping up to take a big dump when I am out walking him, I pretend there's something very interesting to look at in the opposite direction, and keep walking briskly along. And I carry one of those baggy things too so it looks like I actually pick them up.

As a dog owner I've got a foot in each camp for picking up turds. Luckily for me my dog is very rarely a public dumper.

If I'm walking along the footpath or on the oval that is mixed use between community, primary school and cricket/footy clubs then I'll pick it up. Bags and bins are supplied around the park anyway. If I'm walking in the bush somewhere and the dog drops a nugget off the path then I'll probably leave it.
