How come ive never heard of Matt White?
I went with Deledio
Alywn Davey is the fastest without a doubt, he didnt go to draft camp but does it in 2.75. He is explosive and i have got the stats to prove he is indeed the fastest!
That or because he is not a good football player
Winderlich is fastest at bombers every year, so where does that leave the rest with him beating Lovett and Davey every year.
Where is Wojack?
My vote would be him, but my policy is to back Judd no matter what the situation.
Where's Wojcinski? everyone knows he's the fastest player in the league.
you should of set out this poll differently. instead of having a bunch of fast players you should've picked the fastest known player from each club then put them head-to-head:
eg.
essendon: winderlich
geelong: wojinski
richmond: deledio
collingwood: thomas
so on. and yeah, as i said, put them head to head.
The question needs much more defining. To me speed comes in many forms. For instance who would be the quickest player carrying the ball? Lovett springs to mind because he baically runs at full pace and bounces the ball perfectly.
Then there is speed off the mark and in confined space. Pearce, Rioli, Davey brothers are all examples of this.
There's other types of speed such as prolonged burst. Usually this is something forwards need so they can make multiple leads up to or over 50 metres. Rusling springs to mind with that.
From a standing start Judd closed down a full throttle Deledio within 20-25 meters....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXNunNeqCyI
Deledio while bouncing easily outruns judd.. he also won the 2005 Grand Final sprint..
Also get a replay of the Friday night game NM vs Geelong where Matty Campbell burns him off and boots the goal making him look like a snail.
