No news on these lads
So guessing we are going in with just Jordan Croft and two NGA players

Tom Garlick - (2023 Draft)
Max Darcy - (2023 Draft)
Jack Johnson - (2023 Draft)
Hi Vital. For those of us that know nothing about the father son process what is this “no news” you refer to that precludes us from taking any of these three. Is there some cutoff that has passed and we have not listed them so they can only now be taken in the open draft?

The under 18s comps starts next week which a lot of clubs have announced their teams for the year
With only two teams left, only Jordan Croft has been confirmed to be playing under 18s this year

Ok thanks for the reply. So those three father sons have not been named in a TAC under 18’s team ( two teams still to be finalised but unlikely they will be listed) so it is highly improbable they would be drafted from outside that competition in Victoria.
Still two teams to be finalised- so you’re telling me there’s a chance 😂

While everyone else is moaning about the dire straits the club is in but not offering any solutions, I decided to do something about it. I have analysed the draft list on page 1 of this thread and found that for the 17 draft years listed ( 2019 to 2038, with a couple of blanks) we have 39 players sons which gives an average of 2.3 a year. 2025 with 6 is a great year.
First order of business therefore is for the club to direct an increase in numbers. I propose we require 3 father-sons per year.
Next the club needs to decide on the type of players to be produced each year. I propose 1 ruck, 1 KPF, 1 KPD,
in the first year, 2 mids, 1 small forward in the second, 1 wing , 1 hbf, 1 small defender in the third year before the cycle repeats. This way we will always have the types of players we need. If you want a swing man trade for him.
I know someone will say “ why don’t the club just require that 4 father sons be produced each year”. That’s just stupid. You have to be realistic.

Looks like Kyan Eagleton has potentially decided to focus on Fantasy football since missing out on getting drafted.
Is this him leading the dogs league at the moment?

Deceptive photo. Luke is sitting in the box, Max is outside, 2 rows down. Apparently grows at the speed of Groot.
Max is on the level below, standing up through a hole in the floor
