I don;t mean to be rude here. I just need to ask this question...

Do you like to drink your own urine as well?

Depeds what I'm drinking the day before :D I wouldn't call them a favourite, just whats sitting in my fridge ;)

I'm confused now I thought Pepperjack Ale was made by Pepperjack Winery. Pepperberry Ale was a James Squire seasonal

yea thats what i thought
i thought the jimmy squire was called pepperberry winter ale or somethin like that

I'll put it this way.

If Cuba 59 or Kutt was brewed in Germany, the brewers would be executed for crimes against the reinheitgebot.

No doubt. Wasn't claiming it was the best ever.

When you compare Kutt to the likes of pure blonde and other low carbs is it a lot better. Mind you there are some better low carb beers then Kutt.

As for cuba 59, I don't mind the taste, seems a hot day beer. Shit loads of better beers out there, but you get what you pay for ;)

You are both correct & for anyone that wants to get some pepperjack you can buy it from the Malt & Vine in Newport. Checked there Firday & they still stock it.

Which is why I asked if you drank your own urine. It wouldn't taste much worse, and it's a darn sight cheaper ;)

I bought what I'd call a V6 - 6 Victorian Brews. I'll tell you if they were any good post-Christmas.

Here they are:
Temple Saison
Mountain Goat IPA
Mildura Brewing Mallee Bull (Heavy)
Coldstream Pilsener
Grand Ridge Brewers Pilsener
Pricky Moses Otway Ale.

I've had a couple before, but there's a few good summer beers in there and I don't think any would excite Dad or my brothers:D, so they're a generally safe bet for Christmas.

Also bought a Matilda Bay Sebastian Reserve 750ml - a 6% Dark Wheat Beer...interesting beer, could get finished tonight.

On another related-but-unrelated matter, the wheels are in motion for a Beer Mile (drink, run lap of track, repeat process 3 times, spew and run a penalty lap) in Melbourne's West.

My brother gave me a six pack of Beesting for xmas. Very nice drop from Barossa Valley Brewing

Am I the only person disappointed with the Little Creatures Bright Ale? Nowhere near as good as the Pale or the Pilsener.

Only tried it once at a beer festival just after it was released and I was definitely not a fan... but had tried about 20 other beers beforehand, so the taste buds may have been beaten into submission by that point.

Would have to be bloody good to rival the LC Pale IMO.

Have spent the last week and a half between germany, czech rep. and austria. Sweet jebus, what a range! Cannot recall half of them, particularly at the moment, but the prague bit was a highlight.just did a trip to bratislava today, and found a little random cheese shop that sold rochefort 8's and others at a sensible price. Result!

Malt & Vine is an incredible little store. One of the best ranges of brews in Melbourne.

I don't really have a favourite but floating around the preferred few at the moment:

Cisk - which is the beer of choice in Malta.
Bia Saigon - Vietnam
James Squire Golden Ale
Kronenbourg 1664 -
Estrella -
Yuengling Black and Tan - Which is only available in a couple of states in the US.
