Fevola Arrested?

All these Little rapist's get away with everything and he has a Little to much to drink on New Years Eve and gets targeted by police stick your game in your ass now I understand why they call it ariel ping pong.

Regardless of what he's done he's damaged the 'brand'-AFL (yes i'm being facetious).

If the Lions don't make the 'correct' decision here (i.e. neck him) then the AFL will make it for them (in a completely "this is an issue for the Brisbane Lions to deal with" hands off manner).

The AFL detest Fevola and I think this could be end...forget about due process, innocent before proven guilty etc etc

Hope I'm wrong...

Calling Henderson a spud has got to be the saddest thing ever to come from the mouth of a Lions supporter, you loved him as a Lion.

I know I and many others did and continue to have a very big soft spot for the lad and are but many are just bitter and won't admit that the club made the wrong decision in the trade.

The ones who call him a spud on here are the same ones who considered him a gun whilst at the club, yet talk up how good your Raineses and Buchanan's of the club are.

Fev arrested for initially being "raucous", if this type of "policing" were carried out at the MCG after a big game hundreds would be arrested crossing Punt Road every weekend.

All Carltankers worshipped Fevola cause that is all you all talked about Fevola and Judd cake is on your own face.

Only a matter of time before the AFL charges the clown for bringing the game into disrepute. How he or the club don't understand that is laughable, he just continues giving the AFL ammunition for throwing his sorry ass out of the game.

The sooner this moron is gone from our club the better.

But he has got it right though I mean what has fev ever done for either team? Apart from winning a Coleman medal?

Might as well ask what Ablett ever did for Geelong besides with a Brownlow.

A forward's primary goal is to kick goals. Fev kicked a bucketload of them. If a team is too Fev-conscious and one-dimensional, that is their fault, not Fevola's. He can only try to demand the ball, mark it when it comes his way, and convert it into a goal.

Just like i posted in the bay now to end end the ethic of some of these peoples minds.Until your put in his shoes or someone like him you'll never understand.

Though St Kilda pedos get away with nude pics and 16 old girls Aerail ping pong understand why.Might as well put Mini skirts on for 2011 you cant even have a drink with out getting arrested once you in the lime cops do what they can to arrest you I know the feeling funny how the sicko freak's always get away and we cop it for walking across the road.Money talk and crap walks.

I read in the paper the other day that Alex was out painting the town with her dancing with the stars partner ... they seemed very cosy.

Think this has hit Fev hard. Yes he is a big kid, but the guy is hurting and I think he has a very destructive personality.

Sad truth is he has been given so many 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances that he just expects them. One day they will all run out and that is when I will really feel and worry for him.

He is/was a magician on the field but just came with way too much baggage. I personally loved him at Carlton but was glad to see him go.

After the year he has had with Brisbane after the Brownlow night, where lets face it he has picked up the pace substantially, I just do not know where to from here for him.

I feel for the Lions supporters who see what a mistake recruiting him was but I cannot blame them for salivating at the thought of a Brown/Fev forward line.

Fev brings out that thing in all people ... if we can only control him geez we would have an awesome attack ... problem is he is really old TNT .. too volitile.

Loved Fev for many years, always hoped he would grow up and change, a lot of Carlton supporters/fans over the years held onto this hope that he would change. We fans/supporters at Carlton made excuses for him for years. And I see the same thing happening at Brisbane now, fans divided, making excuses for a grown man, exactly what we did at Carlton as well.

If he hasn't changed and grown up now, it will never happen, if he wasn't such a gun at AFL he would be out on the streets somewhere, I hope for his sake and his family's he grows up, because he will soon find that without football he is nothing. He needs to get help and not have people making excuses for him every time he does something wrong.

Presenter and callers are having a field day on SEN right now...you know the sort of stuff, culture, Mathews built it up, Voss brings it down, the latest restaurant incident etc...blah, blah, blah..

Well said and it amazes me that many Lions fans, especially here continue to make excuses for a grown man who is nothing more than a petulant child and now needs indefinate leave for the club.:

The Brisbane Lions AFC has this afternoon granted Brendan Fevola indefinite leave from the Club in order to receive professional assistance for a number of personal issues.

The request for leave was made by Fevola following an incident in the early hours of this morning where he was arrested and charged with public nuisance and obstructing police in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Great pre-season Fev, 700 odd other AFL players managed to keep their noses clean, yet he upholds what a fool he really his. Just sack the clown and move on without him, otherwise he will influence alot of the other impressionable young lads on our list that ant-social behaviour is ok.

And you know what they are right, Fevola is a blight on our footy club and Voss just enables this sorry excuse.

Fevola is certainly making Lynch earn his keep as his manager and surely must be wearing his patience pretty thin.

First of all i think those people having a crack at the legitimacy of the QLD police force need to pull their heads in. You go and do their job and see what your decision making is like!

Secondly the woe is me Fev or who cares attitude from some posters show a lack of understanding of how successful footy clubs work. They don't tolerate ill disciplined and unprofessional players like Fev.

His influence on the club has been completely negative, the man is 29 years old, has 3 children, gambling problems, drinking issues and is a confessed serial cheater on his ex mrs. You do the maths in relation to what sort of influence he would have on members of the playing group.

Those bagging Henderson are rewriting history. Lachie was more than keen to stay at the club but the recruiting of Fev along with Bradshaw, Brown and Clark on the list absolutely clogged his chance of a key position forward role in the near future. He saw the opportunity Carlton would be able to offer him and he took it. Personally i was impressed with his development in 2010 and we will regret letting him go!

Macmum you have every right to email the club with your feelings of disgust. Our club will not move forward with a noose like Fev around its neck.

This isn't a chicken little posts but there have been plenty of 'heads in the sand' posts on this topic!

Get your head out of your proverbial, Dylan... Bradshaw is broken down, and Henderson is a spud. Complete potato. Fev's wage is OTT, but the players we lost are not worth worrying about, esp given the way Bradshaw departed, ie pushing for 3 years, etc.

True... Lions are convincing winners in this trade...

We bought ourselves a whole heap of trouble when we signed him. Let's assume that he's innocent. Does it really matter in the court of public opinion? It doesn't. It is more time for the club to deal with the situation. It is another opportunity for the critics to kick the club. It is another damaging headline. This club is in danger of becoming (or has become) the Fevola Show. This club should be so much more than that. But such is life with a human headline on the list.

Life is tough for Fev. The media are out to get him. He has problems with addiction and self-control. His wife has left him and he doesn't see much of his kids. His every mistake is scrutinised and, even when he does nothing wrong, he cops the taint of just being Fev. I feel a degree of pity for him.

But this is the kicker for us - we chose to have him on our list. We didn't have to deal with these issues - real, imaginary or in between. We elected to pay him lots of money to come to Brisbane. That's the real heart-ache for me. This is a mistake entirely of our own making.

The last people that should be laughing are Carlton fans and the club. They created the culture that Fev grew up in. Covering up and denying, incident after incident from this fool made him believe that he could get away with anything.

The way that he has behaved over the years is a disgrace that I have seen on many occasions first hand. The AFL should de register him and give the Lions a first round draft pick as compensation and void his contract. Taking money away from Fevola is the only thing that will make him regret his actions.

Idiots like Fevola will NOT learn, now or ever! The sooner that he is removed from the system the better it will be for everyone. Unlucky, Lions. You really picked a dud with this guy and it certainly does not look like you will get adequate compensation.

Best of luck for 2011 Lions. Hope that you knock the Blues out of the finals again!
