Neil Balme seeing this morning chatting with Fev in williamstown cafe..
Perhaps if Fev keeps things together, the cats may consider a crack..
Since Mooney is going the fevaloution will fit in right with a disipline side...

Re: Fev may become a cat!!!!

all i can say is i bloody well hope not. we don't need disruptions like that around the club. fev has proved he cannot conform to rules and standards set by a football club. and he is getting to a stage where he is almost a has been. we may as well make a play for barry hall if this was the case.

Re: Fev may become a cat!!!!

that would be unreal if he came here:eek: although I want Hawkins to be the main forward for the future but Fevola being able to tutor Hawkins would be amazing:thumbsu:
He's still able to boot 80 goals a year and with our midifield, he'd add even more depth. If this is all legitimate...it means that the coaches and Balmey realistically belive we can have another shot at a winning the premiership in 2012

Re: Fev may become a cat!!!!

seen in a cafe with Neil Balme does not = he will become a Cat. Sounds like nothing but a troll to me.

probably right man but then again, Geelong have been resting (modified training program) one potential game changer throughout the regular season and then bringing him in during the finals over recent years and it's becoming a trend. We did it with Rooke 07, Ottens and likely this season with Mooney. With Mooney a genuine chance to retire next year, having Fevola on the list and fit ready to come in during the finals is a pretty smart move once again imo.

I said this in the Forward thread that if Fev pulled his head in and found some form I reckon we would be very good chance of getting another Premiership... Hopefully Hawkins is on the improve but in the meantime I reckon Fev would be a good pickup...

Still wait for more conformation though...

Would completely go against everything we have stood for over the past 6 years. Time and again we have heard from the football department that we look for players with talent and who are solid citizens off the field and who are likely to be around for 70 - 100+ games.

Thanks but no thanks

"Fev the reason for this meeting is simple'.......I am your father!'

Perhaps Balmey is Fev's biological father and was just getting it off his chest:rolleyes:

Either that or he's defintely in talks to bring him to Geelong. I personally would like to see Fevola given one last shot at footy and go out as he should and not in a similar vain to how Gary Ablett snr went out with no goodbye or fans given the opportunity to say thanks for the memories.

Can't believe you're giving this nonsense any credibility LSV

No I'm not suggesting that it's genuine, I'm more trying to establish the logic behind the notion. I just can't see anyone at Geelong thinking that it would be a good idea, especially with Scott establishing players for 5-10 years into the future. Fev would have maybe 2 seasons of AFL in him maximum, Scott has said that the real push for another premiership is at least 3 years away.

no thanks.

next two years Pods FF, Hawk CHF.

Mitch Brown is our project, we need next year to be the year where he plays 15 games and develops so when Pods retires Brown is ready.

Can not limit Browns (and vardy for that matter) development for a year of fev..
