Also picked up some other decent youngsters, but cant make squad at this stage. Sakho is a good player if your looking for a good young CB. He plays for PSG. Good in the air and pretty quick.

Anyone else playing as Arsenal think 5 stars is too high considering their squad?

Also, anyone played as Bayern yet? They are godly.

Yeah definitely too high. And i also got owned by swansea as Gunners.

PLaying on legendary, but seriously, the CPU is annoying. If I try and beat someone they steal the ball and my player just runs through/falls over but if they try and get past me, I win the ball but they all of a sudden have the ball back as if they won it back off me deservedly. Pisses me off.

Lost 4 games in a row on Proffesional.. Played Arsenal on Semi Pro and beat them 8-0..
 
Well, it only took a day but I'm down one controller already :eek:

I love the gameplay and the collision system has impressed me.

It's the passes to the wrong player that that boils the blood.

I either need to work on my passing or my throwing.

I missed the beanbag that is literally 3 metres away from me and put the controller into the floor. They really aren't that hardy :)

Try changing the passing settings to semi-assisted or manual.
 
Just played my most successful game online, 5-0 before half time and the guys quits in division 9. 2-3-3 at the moment (w-d-l), so need to win the next two games to be elevated.

I started playing UT for the first time last night and Im enjoying it alot so far. Trying to earn coins from offline matches currently. Not sure if I should just save and spend on shiny Golds or work my way there with cheaper players.

Also, when you look t a players Bio in the Auctions and some stats are green... does that mean the previous owner(s) have increased those attributes with cards?

i got my way out of constantly being in that position, i just pass around lots, not many risky passes and i contain lots when defending to find the right time to tackle. you'll be playing in world class in no time

ARGH! YES! what also annoys me is when you can't make the receiving player move towards the ball sometimes and the opp behind him runs off with it. sometimes my player with the ball doesn't even have an arrow above his head, he just stands there and i have to L1 between half my team until it selects him :confused:
 
I'm sorry, but I like this game but I don't think i'll ever love it. The computer are way too perfect. Since when the **** is Park so ****ing quick? I know he works hard and all but I don't think he's amazingly fast. He just burns all my players. I think everything works out way too well for the AI. All the free kicks, ridiculous passing, shooting and all the free kicks. This game has improved in a way but has also taken a step back with the AI just being ridiculous. I can handle an improve in difficulty but for gods sake make it actually realistic.

Rant over.

haha I just said all the free kicks twice. Guess its twice as true.

Same with my Career mode, I'm playing with Chelsea this year just for a bit of variety

Van Persie sold to Real

Tried my hardest to sell either Drogba or Anelka and when I eventually did talks broke down...as did me selling Ivanovic for 30 million pounds (!) talks broke down again, grrrrrr
 
I usually find the crowds in FIFA boring but after buying a Turtle Beach PX21 and putting the bass on max it made a massive difference, crowd noise feels awesome now.

And on another note, Man Utd bid for Carragher about 5 times in my manager mode... Everton/United bidding for anyone from my team should be off limits.
