Kaka (Broke down after 2 games)
Villa (Scored 40 goals in 34 games so far)
Fabergas(IS very good)
De Rossi (Benched him after awhile)
Rossi (Started of slow but has come good)
Scwarnier or however you spell his name from bayern.(he is pretty good)
Modric i got on loan for half a season and was awesome.

I always play with the alternate control setting. Never have this problem. :thumbsu:

Yep, alternate is the way to go. I can't play any other way.

I'll add you once I finally get my game. I was able to handle not getting it on the first day or two, but the weekend just killed me!

Was looking forward to trying to complete the challenges/scenarios but have found out you only get 1 day or two to do it.
 
Maybe people are smarter. I'm really enjoying FUT, now that I've got the hang of things. Competitions are pretty good for coin bonuses. Also interesting how the formation can change the chemistry so much, often as big as a 20 point scale. Only thing that really shits me though is the continuous contracts and injuries. I had my three gold players go down with injuries in the same game, and they all missed at least 5 matches. Heartbreaking! :(

One thign that's underrated and I don't think it's been mentioned once in this thread is the new Quick Throw option. It works wonders when your players are still on the run, and I've scored off it a couple of times. :thumbsu:

Had a game of Ultimate Team the other day and weirdly enough, the attack settings were normal. I struggled big time - couldn't get used to it. Ended up switching it back half way through, obviously.

I love this new option. I haven't actually scored off it yet but I got the trophy. :D

The AI threw it straight over a defenders head and I ran on to it for an easy goal.

The main thing that annoys me so far, besides the deadly accurate AI passes, is the fact that when I actually manage to lay a tackle the ball ricochets straight to an opposition player 90% of the time.

A few times it has even gone backwards into my own box and I've conceded. Frustrating but I am still loving this game.

YES!

You put pressure on and they just run away from you, mostly towards goals for about 20 metres before passing or kicking it out. patch needs to fix this.

One of the most frustrating things about the game. Yet when they tackle me, I end up running forward with no chance of winning the 2nd ball and then they have possession for a billion years.

how do you do quick throw?

Can someone shed light on the player growth after a season in career mode? In fifa 10 (ps2 version) after a season players would go up automatically, especially gun youth players.
But in my fifa 11(xbox 360) after a season, they stay the same. They also b*tched about not getting a game, (they couldn't crack the team because they weren't good enough) and it said they aren't performing well and go down one. It can also go up one. It seemed to me that was the only way to improve players, but it was mighty hard because I give my good young players time off the bench, but they still bitch and complain.
Whats fifa 12 like?

It's situational, if the ball is close and it's a throw in it will happen. Works the same as quick free kicks.

Agree with Kaan a few posts back about the sound, it's phenomenal this year. Every game finally doesn't sound like a 100 thousand packed out stadium, has a much more 'local game' type of sound to much of the matches and the ups and downs are therefore brilliant now.
 
Through to division 8 online. Needed a draw or win in my last game and won 1-0. Drogba scored at the 83rd minute from outside the box :D

It's much better this year. I'm halfway through the season and some of my young players (Barkley, Coleman and Rodwell etc.) have all grown already.

So they've made it harder, and less like an arcade game and you're complaining.
FIFA has been too easy in the past - and the improvements/changes have made it more difficult.
The CPU is far more intelligent and capable now.
The only complaint I'd have is that I'd like each side to play something resembling their own style. Doesn't feel right playing Stoke who pass the ball around like Barcelona.
Either way - the CPU has improved which makes gameplay more difficult and subsequently better.
 
Was running into goal last night one on one against the keeper when my striker pulled up, done his hammy. Wasn't even pissed off, thought that it was good that they had that sort of a injury in there and the animation looked pretty spot on too.:thumbsu:
