Fighting Furies launch new Guernsey

The Fighting Furies have unveiled a new Guernsey which will be worn going forward Session 27. The change has been made to both the home playing kit and the away playing kit.

The striking design has kept 2 of the original Furies colours in homage of their heritage but has discarded the traditional Richmond yellow previously used. The design and creations were inspired by the artwork of Barrybran Marketing.

Tigerturbulance and rfctiger74 were the first players to pull on the new playing kit and said they will both wear it with immense pride.

“When I first saw the jumper, I was immediately struck by the boldness of the colors – it’s a strong image and has a wonderful story behind it,” rfctiger74 said.

“Running out in this jumper for the first game of Season 27 is going to be really special” stated Tigerturbulance

Fighting Furies Captain TJASTA said “We are making a bold move to disengage ourselves from the Richmond only Furies of the past and so have changed our logo and jumpers to move forward unencumbered. When discussing whether to change our jumper we wanted to ensure we kept something of the original design so we didn’t remove our past all together”.

The Furies are not prepared to sit back on their glorious history and have brought a whole new fresh look to the club, I predict exciting times ahead for this reinvigorated group.

thanks dude. its a big step for a club that started with a policy of recruiting only RFC supporters, and one that our LG's have been working on for some time now. great to finally see it up and live

Well we have been opening recruiting since season 16, but we never acted on it and keep sucking the Richmond board for talent. This season we have stopped doing that.

Kudos to the Furies leadership group!

If you look at all the players we have "lost" in the past 2 seasons, every single departure is good for the Furies:

1) fumbler overthrown as captain at the royals, and didn't even slam the door on his way out. We have more damage done to our clubrooms arguing about Tim Tams vs Mint Slices FFS. If you can't infight properly, you have no place at the Furies.

2) _Cayz_ in one season has turned the Bombers from a hard bantering club into one that start threads complaining that girls are picking on them. Got rid of a weak link AND destroyed the Bombers.

3) manangatang named after the ****ing town, but agreed to play Vic Country SoO at Kardinia Park. Must be a closet norf fan to be bullied around that much.

4) JackNah_8 they are legit talking tennis in the Roy's team thread. Nuff said.

5) NaturalDisaster to lift his game has started media whoring worse than the S26 rookies. Hawks don't mind though because any activity is better than their sole media focus for S26 (multiquoting)
