Finally We Won.

We I am one relieved Tigers supporter, the duck is broken and we have managed to get the win we deserved. While it is great to win there is still a long way for us to go to get back to being a side that is a consistent threat to other sides. We just wanted it more than the Dees did tonight and it showed. Hopefully there will be a few more wins to finish the season and the Tigers can head into next year, confident of turning it around and start heading back up the ladder again.

Yes you did deserve it tongiht and it had to come sooner or later! GOod luck for teh rest of the year but i cant see any light at the end of the tunnel for you guys!

Mate,
Every team has those rutts. Just hang tough and the Tigers will come good one day... Good win tonight! Shows some hope for the future :thumbsu:

Did you ever think in your worst nightmares that'd you'd be watching your team notch up their first win for the season after the mid season break?

That must have been bloody awful.

Oh well.

Lets hope they beat as many top 4 contenders as possible for the rest of year. With the exception of the Eagles obviously.

yeah, I didn't see it coming. makes you wonder why they couldn't of played better earlier

They did, several times. Sadly it was only in patches, 5 minutes here, a quarter there. Doing it from the start, and keeping going for a half was the 'new' part.

Realistic, that's just selling yourself short. You have been hear copping the fireballs all year and now is your time? What's wrong with you son, lay the boots in.

Regardless of the season you just flogged a so called premiership team by their fans preseason.

Get into em'.:)

Good win...surprised how pathetic the Dees were tho...thought they might be on a mission from god for the rest of the season but noooooooooooooo.

That Jake King goes alright...like a fly buzzing around down back....u;ve found one there.

Wallace will probably now walk into the Presidents office with a prepared contract extension and list of demands till 2013.

Saving up for July 15th. :p

We beat the team sitting 15th, so while it is great to have a win, I don't feel like carrying on about it. If and when we beat a team that is actually a contender this year then I'll have a crack until then, enjoying the taste of victory and keeping it Realistic.

Was the way in which we won that impressed me...finally.
Kicking a score of 18.16 will win you most games. More of the same please Wallace. Pagan is doing the same with the Blues. teach them how to play footy, not rugby scrums. A flogging will occur every once in a while, but in the long run, everyone wins.

I liked the marks

Maybe my post is best for the Richmond board, but how about our supporters last night? I know it sounds sad and petty but it felt like we had just won a flag. The Grog Squad behind the goals were still chanting 15 minutes after the players left the field. It was unbelieveable. It just reminds me how good our supporters are. Behind Collingwood fans, we would have to have the next best set. Would any other club be able to pull some of the crowds we get after 25 years of shit?

Well done "Tiger Army" :thumbsu:

Congrats to Richmond and as someone wrote every club has tough times and had you finished better you could have had a few more wins, sounds like Essendon in 2006.

Over all a very impressive win, and thanks for I tipped you in the footy tipping.
