And it would be a bonus hoop to accompany the other hoops already present. Full on hooped shorts I think would just look nutty.
Very bad miss read, thought you were talking about socks:p

Big apology for that one

Brisbane generally only wear Vic red in deemed clash game come finals (Bulldogs, Melbourne, Adelaide).

It will be full Maroon vs Full White Friday night

Last time we saw them not play either Dogs or Bulldogs in an away final was v Port Adelaide in 2004 GF

Also, found it interesting that their VFL team wore their clash jumper vs Casey in the PF on Saturday.

Brisbane usually wear lions red and white shorts away against Geelong

Not in a final, there is still a little rough waters amongst Bears and Fitzroy supporters and wearing the Fitzroy jumper when not needed in a final can cause a couple of little ripples, Fiztroy jumper is an away jumper during home and away but becomes a clash come finals.

Sydney if you noticed went with their Sydney Jumper and not their South Jumper in the first final.

Last few away finals Brisbane have played in, it's been in either the Red jumper or clash jumper

Away finals the last few years

2022 Melbourne (Has always been deemed clash
2021 Melbourne (see 2022)
2020 NIL
2019 NIL
2009 Bulldogs (Has been deemed clash at that time)
2004 NIL
2003 Full Maroon V Collingwood MCG, Full Maroon V Sydney Stadium Australia

No use going any further back as no away/clash jumpers used prior to this.

So this is actually the first ever final where Brisbane is the away team and not deemed that Maroon home is a clash.

Both are inferior to the originals IMO

Could probably make a case for GF I suppose but it’s hard to keep everyone happy
