I think it’s possible. I didn’t see a sim though where 15 wins had us finishing outside the top 4. As you say though that could all change after Hawks vs Cats this week.
I despise hawthorn

Don’t particularly care for Geelong but if it’s v Hawks I’m going for catters

3 wins could also see us on 5th though right? Will have to see after the Hawks Geelong game.
Only if Hawthorn wins all 3 and whoever wins out of Melbourne/GWS also wins their other 2.

So we would need 5 consecutive results to go against us, many of those 50/50s. Reasonable to assume we should be in if we can manage 3 wins.

On another note, we are currently paying $1.57 against Port which seems a bit short.

If we win the last 3 are we certain to make the top 4?
Not certain. If Hawthorn and one of GWS/Melbourne win all three we could finish 5th. Although, we could potentially overtake Hawthorn on percentage. Although the likelihood of finishing 4th is quite high, as it requires unfavorable results for us to miss top 4 if we happen to win all three. I think it's more likely we finish 5th or 6th this year.

Just ran Squiggle's autotip function on the final three rounds multiple times, each time it had us finishing top four.

Based on this season and returning players over the coming three weeks, we should account for Brisbane and Fremantle, and we are every chance of downing Port as well.

At the very least we host a home final finishing top six IMO.

One week at a time though, bring on Brisbane.

The spirit of DTM's OP is spot on.

For me this week is the most important game out of the next 3 because it will set the tone and after 2 hard fought losses and further injuries we need to bounce straight back and regain the confidence that only a win can provide.

A win on Saturday night with Howe and hopefully de Goey returning will see the hope restored that we are still capable of being big players in September.

and You saw last week we seemed Tired and Lack of Confidence and very Important to get that Confidence back.

Plus we need a Big % Booster as other top 8 Sides got them last few weeks

Not many sides get % boosters against Brissy atm.

No They Don't. They have Improved a Fair Bit from last few seasons.

Just have to keep Winning then as our Fate in Top 8 is still in our Hands

If North lose today, then we are pretty much a lock for the 8, even if we were to lose our last two remaining games, unless we get belted in both games.

CATS Only team could Knock us out of Top 8

With this weekend's results, one more win makes it mathematically certain as far as I can tell. The teams that would all have to win to knock us out from there are playing one another. Even losing both still gives us a chance if results fall our way. I hope we win both remaining games anyway to set us up for top 4, but it's absolutely not "Finals Start Now", beyond getting the sort of momentum that every team wants going into finals.

Not elimination finals, but qualifying finals have already started.

I would prefer to finish fourth rather than third. I think we'd be a chance against Tigers but not Eagles. Also don't really want De Goey to play two matches in a row on the Perth surface.
