Thanks Jars, I should be able to get a ticket if I go on the Tuesday without any problems.

Yep, due to our members numbers all season ticket holders can get tickets to home finals. In 97 I was only a silver medal and got tickets to both home finals easily. Not very good seats though but such is life.

Yeah, I have pretty good seats (behind the goals at the southern end) so I don't think I will be able to get my seat I have had all year.

Big IF here but if Adelaide make the grand final how many tickets is allocated to us?

I see that all Captains club and Gold members can get tickets if they go to buy on the first day they are on sale, how many Gold and Captains club members are there?

The next day any remaining tickets will be sold to Silver members, what are my chanes of getting a GF ticket (I am a silver member).

Gold members were capped at about 6,000 I think and there are only about 500 Captain Club member I think.

Crows will probably get about 12,000 grand final tickets depedning on who the opposition are

So silver members will be fighting for 5,000 tickets at most.

That's why you become a gold member and jus swagger into bass at about 4.30 pm on the first day of sale and you don't even have to line up

I take it you're a Gold member?

This is the first year I have had a season ticket.

If I am one of the first 5000 sleeping outside the ticket place I might get a ticket.

As a Swans season ticket holder I'm hoping it will be an Adelaide-Sydney grand final. :D

I don't know what the order of priority for Sydney members is though; I don't think they have that whole gold/silver/bronze rubbish.

Yeah

Became a gold member after the 97 grand final and therefore got to see the 98 Grand final which was just great.

HOpefully another one coming up

Its also good to be a gold member to be superior to you silver members:D

Good luck with the camping out.

I feel like such a 2nd class citizen :(

I'm hoping it's a final between Port/Crows. 'Cause I'm thinking that's the only way I'll get a ticket as I don't have a Crows membership/season ticket and I'm guessing all the tickets will be sold out before they go on sale to the general public :(

I think I read somewhere that there are 8000 Gold Members....perhaps the club mag.

Anyways, I have/pay for 3 memberships....
1 Gold membership on my Melbourne membership....still counts as Gold for ALL intents and purposes......
2 Silver Memberships back in Adelaide that the Parental Type Figures use whenever I can't get back to Adelaide for the game.

Whatever happens, I'll be bloody sure of getting a ticket. :D:D It's just a matter of getting back to Adelaide for the first/second week of the finals if that is what's required. I hope we play at least two finals in Melbourne (a PF and the Granny!). At least I won't have any problems getting to the games!

I'm not a member at all, so what are the chances of me getting a general public ticket to a home final if we get one this time? I've never been to a final b4 and can't go to the showdown so i want to go to a final god dammit.

We will be lucky to make week 2 of the finals the way we are playing at the moment  (geez I am mad tonight!)

Might not even need my goldies.

What really maked me vomit is that a friend of mine in Melbourne is a corporate sponsor of Collingwood, and gets 10 tickets to the grand final every year. He's already promised to give me 2 tickets to the granny if Adelaide make it, but after today, that's only looking a very very remote possibility. :(

what annoys me most about todays dismal performance is that we just handed COLLINGWOOD second spot on the ladder  As if its not bad enough we lost to the damn Kangaroos!
