All my leagues switched over to RDT before the start of the 2014 season due to the ridiculous pricing and all the teething problems on the Fanhub site. Nothing has changed, there are massive issues every year. You guys should switch over to the rock solid RDT site and kiss these Fanhub losers goodbye forever.

I may be letting my anger get the better of me but I think I'm going to pull my side for the season I've been an avid player, advocate and promoter of DT/Fantasy on the official AFL fantasy game for 7 or 8 years now. I've thrown ridiculous amount of hours and even money into the game over the years. To be blatantly lied to and made out like its my fault is absolutely ridiculous and a slap to the face.

Even just the amount of time I've spent the last week trying to help me and the fellow coaches who were screwed is probably stupidly to far. Every season I try to top my overall and was trying to crack double digets this yeah but now there's no way I'll even get close. Absolutely no motivation anymore.

I know AFL Fantasy/FanHub aren't going to give a crap that a player will be leaving the game, that's the whole problem they couldn't give two shits anymore. What's even the point?

You have every right to be pissed off, what an absolute shambles. As you showed with their rules why weren't all these teams auto filled. You may not have liked the player that was thrown in as auto fill, but certainly beats being screwed out of the competition. Hopefully Fanhub gets the arse after this season & goes back to the original designers.

There was probably massive bug fixes as well.

Exactly....don't update your app. It just updates the T & Cs as far as I can see. How dodgy is this mob?

I stopped playing last year after all the bugs the previous year, giving it a go again this. Ive not been affected by the stuff up this year but know a bunch of people that have and its shameful the way its been handled.

I've just had my team edited, it was completely full, had money in the bank and Papley has been replaced with a Billy Evans. What the actual heck?

No it didn't, although no trade history is coming up because I've still got unlimited trades.

Sorry guys but you've all been had. AFL got sick of paying licence fees to Virtual Sports so basically invented their own game in 2014, using these amateurs Fanhub to program it and paying off DT Talk to promote it even though they knew the new game was vastly inferior. They make up the rules as they go and at least one writer at DT Talk has too much influence in my opinion (think M Clark DPP ruck after 8 hit outs in 6 games, Adelaide average scores solution all benefitted the ranga's side). The program has more holes than Swiss cheese and if you think this is bad just wait because I reckon a whole round will get wiped out one day, or worse... a total crash, and a whole season lost. It's very serious stuff. You spend a lot of time on this game, don't flush it down the toilet. RDT is the answer, don't ever play this rubbish game again.

I have a fantasy team that is valid but i don't really like fantasy I play real dt and supercoach more seriously. If anyone who got zero wants to take over my team I'm willing to hand it over to them if it helps. I scored 1985 And am ranked 24,000.

It's pulled from the Android store. There must have been a bug in the phone app.

But there was no technical issues so why would they need to pull their app?

I only used my trades over the last few days on the OS from a computer.

Going out for tea so I'm signing off Fantasy for the evening just wanted to confirm a screenshot of a fully submitted, saved, full team with a captain, vice captain and four emergencies. Just them wait if the same thing happens again.

I adjusted my emergencies and captain / vice captain about an hour before the game. The screen said "saved" and now I've just checked my team and none of the changes have taken effect.

I know what's done is done but after weeks of waiting and halfa dozen extra messages sent, today I finally got a reply from Fanhub explaining how my team was incomplete.

"Hi Josh, We have been able to look at your team and we can see that you had Tom Ruggles on your bench as a defender. You have then removed him from your bench and have not filled this position until March 31 when Anthony Mcdonald-Tipungwuti was placed in this position. Therefore your team was incomplete for Round 1."

Was the response that they gave me. For starters Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti was already in my team as can be seen on a post that I put in the "Rate My Team" thread here just hours before the partial lockout: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/2016-rate-my-team.1119907/page-14 he was named in the Essendon side that night so why on earth would I of traded him out.



Secondly they've claimed my side wasn't completed until the 31st of March, the Tuesday after Round 1 was completed I can absolutely guarantee and even promise that my team wasn't sitting their incomplete for the entire first round.

Did anyone else finally get a response explaining where they apparently went wrong? I'm sorry if I'm revisiting the issue but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still mad over it and this response I got today was just laughable.

The reason I am asking, what you did to those 2 players could reveal where the bug in their system was as they pointed out those 2 players. THey could have given information that in collaboration with other people could expose the error. (They could have given you a completely BS answer as well)

Edit: I am a Systems Engineer with a background in computer programming and know that certain bugs can be caused by a sequence of user interactions that would never be found out without a bug being reported, something like this.

I didn't touch Ruggles until the Friday, if my memory serves me right he wasn't named on the extended bench for Round, I wanted to trade him out for Adams who was named I just didn't have the cash to do and I didn't want to reshuffle my whole side before the Tigers played because I was to interested in our game about to start. I did do a straight swap of Hartley for Clay Cameron on the Thursday.

What I ended up doing was moving Hall into my midfield, trading out Greene saving some coin and then bringing in Adams. I defiantly did this Friday because it was when I was making these trades I noticed I could trade in Richmond & Carlton players that made me realize something not right is going on here.
