Feel like next 4 games are huge in context of our season.

If we win all 4, we'll have developed so much self confidence that we'd be legit top to 2 finish.
Win 3, still an amazing result and top 4 likely. As this would show we can mix it with other top 4 teams excluding Freo. But you could argue derby game is as hard.
Win 2, probably depends on which 2 and what the loses were like. But this would have us as top 6 to 8.
Win 1, media will label us flat track bullies and say they'll end up where we originally predicted them to.
Win 0, all confidence will be lost in the playing group and could drop away.
Exciting challenge ahead.

I seem to remember a recent-ish previous year where we had a good start to the season after a favourable early fixture but then failed miserably across a tough run of 4-5 games.
This situation has an eerily similar feeling to it. I hope I'm wrong, though.
I think we will win the next 2 but lose the 2 after that.

Yeah I keep thinking back to when Brisbane got Fev and they were 4-0 & things were looking good.
I know its not the same but thats what I think of... a team doing ok early against expectations only to be later revealed as poo... hope Im wrong.
But as i said in an earlier post our run home looks decent and I reckon we'd be close to favs in most of them

I had no expectations heading into this season anyway, being 4-1 and playing good football has been an awesome surprise.

Yeah I feel the same. Thought all the first 5 games were 50-50 really so good to be 4-1.

Looks about right.
13 wins would get us a 5-8 finals spot youd think. Hopefully keep a decent % for a home final.
Couple extra wins = top 4

If we blood 6 players this year and get 12-13 wins i would be happy with that.
on current form, depending on injuries (NN, JK), with ryan+venners back round 17 approx, we could get 14-15 wins..
could be way wrong but feel this team/season is different from a previous one where we got off to a similar start, then collapsed in a run of tough games. while we have a lot of exciting inexperience on show
there is also a new team resolve or hardness at the ball.
this next run of games from Freo onwards will show us where we're really at..

Being a bit conservative there I think. 0.7 for the derbys, tigers never leave victoria and we should be atleast 0.6 or 0.7 over here, same deal with the bombers but id have them at 0.8, dogs and saints are playing absolutely rubbish footy and generally dont perform well here at the best of times, should be 0.9, the dees have managed 1 win by a few points in perth in years only because we shat the bed, and aren't playing well, should be atleast 0.7, and the lions regardless of being away should be at least 0.8.

Jag wins over Richmond and/or GWS at home and a win at Adelaide Oval and we're sitting pretty.
Tough stretch of five games coming up now though.
Relishing to see how we go with the challenge of the next 5 weeks.
