Now that the footy season is coming to an end and Podcasts shutting up shop.
Anyone know of any decent podcasts I can suggest to listen to over the next few months?
What type of stuff do you want to listen to? I listen to a variety of podcasts...

For a footy podcast try "Saturday Afternoon Fever" (reading of the book about his struggles of being a St Kilda supporter, very funny IMO) and Titus O'Reilly and Mick Molloy's "Sports bizarre" (also very funny and relatively new).

Two others I would recommend are "Dark Net Diaries" (cybersecurity/web stories) and "Founders" (discussion around the biographies of high achieving people and take home message(s) around leadership) - there are plenty of episodes of each one.

Sports Bizarre is pretty good. Titus has a knack of finding the weird stories and rolling them out with plenty of humour. Mick somewhat plays the live audience, giving his reactions to the story. Titus is actually a pretty good story teller, able to string ideas together into a theme while keeping it light and fun.

Mostly just sports, but I do like real crime investigations and stuff, science/astronomy/space.
"Shandee's Legacy" is following the current Qld Commission into the Qld DNA lab issues.

If you like Cricket or grew up playing cricket, Id recommend The Grade Cricketer.

The Dollop is another good one. Its a history like podcast with 2 comedians, were 1 reads about an event from history and the other 1 normally hasn't heard of it before and they kind of riff of it. Because they've got a good following of Aussies they've done a bunch of Aussie history episodes

If Dom and Fish read this - i don't have a twitter - but its a big YES from me for you lads to continue on with your own podcast next year - I'll definitely be a regular listener. A player led one will be good but very constrained, but if Dom and Fish do do there own, I hope being free from the club that they can be more objective at times even though I dont mind them ebeing overly positive.

Power knew about JHF leg issues before trade
However they may not have thought he would need surgery on both legs

“Following consultation with numerous specialists, and consideration of the advised options as to how to treat the issue, we decided it was best for Jason’s health, and ongoing football performance, that he have the surgery now to release the pressure on the arteries and restore normal blood flow to his lower legs,” O’Leary said.

Based on the experience of the previous player led podcast (from around 2015?) that got canned after a year I do not have high hopes lol.

Nor do I to be honest. I fear that it will be rather generic and way to santized without much personality - which I know does appeals to many, particulalry the younger folk who don't no any better.

The dollop is a great podcast. Great live shows when they're out here too

Not me, but the AFLW podcast has been somewhat insightful this season, so perhaps some lessons have been learnt.
Possibly although I do wonder whether is more down to the women naturally tend to be more open and themselves in media engagement in general.

Gold Coast being strongly linked to Sydney Stack.

In hindsight, the only players from the Go Home 5 (6 including Aish) that I'd still take back are Yeo and Docherty. Can't say we'd be in the position we are in today without them leaving though

Would have liked to seen Karnezis have a decent crack at it. Surely we could've had his mom's cooking couriered up or something.
