Not surprised we fell away late with ROB and Sloaney off. The one who really surprised me today was Poholke. Used his strength a few times to break out of tackles, and outside of his finishing for goal, was involved in some really good plays.

Will be interesting to see how much the chipping around in the backline can improve with Doedee and Smith in it, it was hot garbage today. Clearly Nicks has a vision and we need our better kicks of the ball back in defence ASAP to improve the gameplan.

Keays the biggest take away for me. Looked really good in the middle. Know he came on late but had a nice burst, got busy around the ground and had great intent offensively and defensively.

Gibbs the biggest disappointment. Thought he could bounce back but... not going to happen

Wasn't against much (we'll see how we go against Melbourne when Gawn plays).
But we did come out on top in the first half when we played ROB and our experienced mids in the middle.

Loopy hospital handballs to team mates, no peripheral vision, slow hand to foot skills .... all in a miserly pre season match. You’d think half the midfielders running around in div 1 competitions around the country would be better than him
