Bulls 1/14 after 6 overs. Maher out twice in one over plum LBW to Griffith not given, then caught by Di Venuto at second slip.

Hilfenhaus looks great. He's young, he's fit, he's bowling pretty fast and getting a bit of swing.

Would have to be close to the best bowler outside of the Aussie team at the moment, saw him last week over in WA and he was very good.

3/79 after 24, got off to a perfect start but Perren and Philipson are now building a partnership. Hilfenhaus 6 overs 2/11.

Finished at 246. Perren got a century and was run out on the last ball of the innings. Good recovery given the early start and the run rate. Good knock Perren- about time he put together a decent score this season. I just hope we can restrict them because the pitch is meant to be at least 260-270.

Pretty good recovery by the Bulls ..some streaky batting and indifferent umpiring together with some fine shots and lusty hitting has given their bowlers something to defend ...Bichel should be the key to this match .
