Neale didn't leave for money, Bell had a feather in his cap and that was a bucketload of money
Neale wanted out of the spotlight and to a team on the rise
Wot?
Out of the spotlight? He has way more of a profile at Brisbane than he did at Freo.

Nobody gives an AFL player a second look in QLDWot?

I can't stand Fagan. The whole fake nice shit is gratingI get the feeling from Fagan that they expect to be at the pointy end, expect final wins and expect a flag. Like they’re entitled to it and it’ll happen because they ‘deserve it’ and it’s ‘their time’. That sort of attitude is wrong IMO and they will fall flat on their face, go out in straight sets again and the window will slam shut.

Yeah it's the weird smugness that gets me and the cult following thing. It's all bullshit. Can't stand him either. He has this smugness to him, despite the main contributors to their ladder position being the S&C team, weak fixturing and assistant coaches (who do all the actual coaching/tactics ... he just sits on the bench in some kind of weird manager/psychologist role).
Was beyond hilarious watching him have a sook on the sidelines after the Bulldogs turfed them out in the finals.

Be great if Johnson was playing. That way each side would have a player the opposition had rejected. In other news - Hugh Dixon likely to play against us in pre season games
Chris Judd was a good Player at Carlton as well. And his only team success was beating Richmond in a final after finishing 9th during H&A."Cerra was a decent player at Fremantle but he has really taken his game to a new level this season at Carlton" ... even if he is statically equal or inferior.
They were always getting a steal.
Actually, he took Carlton to the finals in 2009, 2010, 2011Chris Judd was a good Player at Carlton as well. And his only team success was beating Richmond in a final after finishing 9th during H&A.
So their is still hope of "21th century Carlton" just being "21th century Carlton".
How does a Carlton supporter even find this? General alert for any time "Chris Judd" is mentioned in a post?Actually, he took Carlton to the finals in 2009, 2010, 2011
Yeah gonna miss his class for sureWill hard to watch every week Cerra doing his same thing but improving. Cripps and Walsh are a foil.
We ll miss him more then we think this season. Brodie isn’t the same player, plus Valente retiring. Amiss and Erasmus will get blooded, sure, but it’s not the right time to have recruits when we should have developed or improving types like Cerra.
Didn't mention Clark, or just forgot? My expectation is he can soften the loss. Will hard to watch every week Cerra doing his same thing but improving. Cripps and Walsh are a foil.

Have you seen Johnson play (I haven't)?Yeah gonna miss his class for sure
Erasmus is more of a Fyfe than a Cerra IMO
Valente had that class but couldn't get near the ball, we really need Johnson to come on but even then he is probably more a Mundy than a Cerra
Highlights only, screamed Mundy to me but thats not actually a bad thing, Mundy won't be around foreverHave you seen Johnson play (I haven't)?
I had seen him as very Cerra-like.
