Like they’re entitled to it and it’ll happen because they ‘deserve it’ and it’s ‘their time’. That sort of attitude is wrong IMO and they will fall flat on their face, go out in straight sets again and the window will slam shut.

Can't stand him either. He has this smugness to him, despite the main contributors to their ladder position being the S&C team, weak fixturing and assistant coaches (who do all the actual coaching/tactics ... he just sits on the bench in some kind of weird manager/psychologist role).

Was beyond hilarious watching him have a sook on the sidelines after the Bulldogs turfed them out in the finals.

Chris Judd was a good Player at Carlton as well. And his only team success was beating Richmond in a final after finishing 9th during H&A.

So their is still hope of "21th century Carlton" just being "21th century Carlton".

Carlton are quite similar to us in list profile & state of development. As the last few years have shown we’re pretty closely matched & they’ve generally been better when it counts.
I expect we’ll play finals against them over the next few years.

Cerra is quality but let’s keep some perspective. It’s a glorified training run with no tagging & he’s out to impress his new team.
I’ll be impressed if he can regularly crack 25+ & a couple of goals when the real stuff starts.

Didn't mention Clark, or just forgot? My expectation is he can soften the loss.
