Erasmus is more of a Fyfe than a Cerra IMO
Valente had that class but couldn't get near the ball, we really need Johnson to come on but even then he is probably more a Mundy than a Cerra
His stats actually reveal a bit of pace Mundy lacks. Anyway, he is a terrific asset and I think is an ideal addition to balance our future midfield.Highlights only, screamed Mundy to me but thats not actually a bad thing, Mundy won't be around forever
I'd absolutely love another Fyfe too, pleased with Erasmus pickGood! I would much rather another Fyfe and another Mundy than a Cerra. Just sayin'.

Brady Grey has popped up in Box Hill. I thought he had a coaching role with us or maybe I was mistaken??
not all, he wanted to be in VicIs this guy for real? He could have had ALL of that at his existing club!

It does give you a sort of new appreciation for guys like Jye Bolton who are out there playing good footy for years but never get a chance where as tall guys like Hugh Dixon just need a season or two to 'prove' themselves. I mean I understand the why but still, does not always seem fair.Love Hugh Dixon getting another chance at AFL. Always been a fan of his. Talented and used his body well.
However, the fact he has a third chance primarily due to that fact he’s tall, and finally realised it this off season. Dropped 8 kilos and got the kick up the butt. Will be playing many games for west coast this season thanks to Jack Darling

pretty sure he has nominated for or at least reported to have nominated for a few drafts and even recently the first mid season draft. Could be remembering wrong.Jye Bolton did get drafted but got delisted. After that I'm pretty sure word was he didn't want to try again and was happy playing WAFL.
It’s pretty unfair indeed. However the taller you are in sports, the more opportunities you get. Bolton doesn’t fit a lot of club’s needs when he’s in the position of which games are won and loss. Midfield is a very contested position all over the leagueIt does give you a sort of new appreciation for guys like Jye Bolton who are out there playing good footy for years but never get a chance where as tall guys like Hugh Dixon just need a season or two to 'prove' themselves. Strnadica gets another chance. Decent prospect. Needed two more seasons in the AFL system. Keen to see how he goes
Rebuilding his brand.That Neale bloke
With better options, talent. Eh. Good luck to him. Cripps goes down, he’s the number 1 midfielder. It’s inevitable given his shoulders, groin, leg issues. Why Cerra chose Carlton: Self-confessed footy head explains Blues move:
Why Cerra chose Carlton: Self-confessed footy head explains Blues move
Former Docker Adam Cerra chose Carlton as the club to deliver his football dreamswww.afl.com.au
ADAM Cerra wanted to build something from the ground up.
As he canvassed his options late last year, having made the decision to leave Fremantle and return home to Victoria, the prospect of starting anew – and starting from scratch – appealed to the talented 22-year-old's competitive spirit.
Cerra held Zoom interviews with premiers-elect Melbourne and attracted interest throughout the year from powerhouse Richmond, but ultimately settled on joining a Carlton team without a top-eight finish to its name in more than a decade.
Having just appointed Michael Voss as their new coach and with a couple of new players joining him at the club during the recent Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, Cerra was sold on the ability to find that fresh challenge with the Blues.
"They were really young and stacked with talent. Some of the players who are coming back from injury now, that weren't even playing much last year, they just add to the group and its depth," Cerra told AFL.com.au.
"Hearing about the group and the boys, they seemed really motivated. With all of the changes, to be able to join Carlton now, you feel like you're a part of it and building it from the ground up.
"We want to bring the fans along with us on that, with crowds coming back to the games, so I think it was just the perfect time for me to join. Along with Lewis (Young) and George (Hewett), we feel like it's a clean slate and we could really be part of something that we started with from the beginning."
Cerra, a self-confessed footy head, arrived at his decision to nominate Carlton as his preferred destination having forensically studied the club's list and its potential to rise up the AFL ranks in the coming years.
