Snooker is still on Kayo
What channel??

Eurosports have the rights to every event for live broadcasts.

Unless you are talking about replays that often also show on Fox Sports 3 Months after they have been played.....

So I have Foxtel in Telstra bundle package. I have the Platinum Plus pack which is usually $140 per month.

I get a $25 discount for the bundle and as it now links my Netflix account with it i no longer pay for Netflix. So effectively pay just under $100 a month for lot.

Internet speed around my area is shit 8mpbs, so prefer cable still. Although I do stream quite a bit from Foxtel and most of the time it’s ok.

With the Platinum Plus we can also multi room through Chromecast.

Love my US sports and all sports in general. Also History channel fan.

We‘re due to get NBN in our area within next few months, may look at changing things around, although so easy just on one box.

Im giving the old mates at Foxtel a buzz tomorrow. Paying 92 for everything except box sets (with IQ2). I usually do the threaten to quit dance but I think with the Premium+Netflix bundle at 88 will do me. They can either shuffle me across with other added benefits or my wife can start a new account on the new deal as there is no install fee. save about 20 a month.

With no Eurosports i am dumping it completely soon as soon as my $24 a month Sports only package expires in a few months.

They are a ****ing joke and the only reason i got the sports package and kept it after having Platinum for so long was because of Eurosports and the Live Snooker. They will be getting a phone call soon to come and get all their shit like the boxes etc.

Netflix and Kayo have me covered with the Telstra Roku Box that is a sensational piece of hardware for $5 a month.

What are people watching on Foxtel nowadays?

Genuine question. Cos with the advent of Kayo, I can't quite figure out why anyone still has Foxtel when sport was always the draw.

Are people just keeping it for movies and kids channels?

UFC, baseball, ice hockey, NBA, NFL.

Movie channels are pretty good.

My internet is not the greatest in our area, so can’t be stuffed with possible buffering issues with Kayo. Movies are ok, no longer have to pay separately for Netflix, also like doco and History channel(s). Also at times a TV series pops up that I can record. Parks & Rec for example on currently and Better Call Saul s4.

Plus it’s part of my Telstra bundle package. Pay just over $100 effectively but don’t have to pay for Netflix, no longer pay full separate NFL subscription (cheaper version). We get NBN in my area in a few months so may reconsider then

I basically have it for AFL, the occasional NBA game when I can catch it and some shows from the Lifestyle channel.

I have had the NBN since start of November but have already experienced issues where I have had no internet for 2 whole days so relying on NBN for Kayo when footy season is on is not something I want to risk.

Hopefully I can upgrade my "Entertainment" to the "Showcase" package would make it better value for me. If not then I walk away.

Reruns of the Simpsons and Seinfeld mainly, outside of sport.
