Genuinely starting to question the mental capacity of even our best players to win these games. Only blokes I think don't have those questions over them are Serong and Treacy.

Seriously, this has 04 feels all over it. Genuinely hated this season as it's always felt like it's leading up to the disappointment of missing finals entirely and once again being the laughing stock of the league.

These last few weeks have been very similar to that disappointing patch early in the year where it's miraculous we're even in these games so late with how many passengers we're carrying on the day.

He didn’t have a great game but the order was:

Jye

Daylight

Voss

Daylight

Taberner

Voss let himself down today, but he's played all of a handful of games so maybe he will improve the marking. Else we should play him as a stoppage mid.

Last week I said our poor starts and finishes have cost us too many times in the past few years. We are good in the middle quarters but we come out too slow out the blocks then shit ourselves late when the game gets hot. Again today that was the case.

We’ve lost 5 times this year when leading at 3QT. No other team has lost more than 2 times when leading at 3QT. We’ve lost 5. That tells the story.

The exact same as last week, mentally this team is not there. The ball lived in Geelong’s forward half in those last 10 minutes.

The same underperformers and the same lessons not being learnt. This team doesn’t deserve finals, and this fanbase deserves better.

Selection definitely contributed to our loss today, but the problem is that we don't have the appropriate depth to cover Pearce, Treacy and Darcy. The sub choice as Worner was also quite poor. I think a bigger concern is over the past month is that we have players that have not been playing up to standard: Sharp, Freddy, Jackson and Banfield. Midfield getting stomped in the last quarter is also a worry.

Our running handball game was non-existent tonight and we just did handball drills without actually moving forward. When we tried to move the ball forward by foot we shat the bed by kicking to a contest, to our talls who offered zero marking power.

Tabs and Voss did nothing. Jackson wasn't great, but you have to cut him some slack given he had to ruck the whole game by himself. Treacy was a massive loss.

It looks like we'll be getting a home elimination final at best. Bloody disappointing, that's for sure.
We’re not beating GWS or Port who will be playing for top four spots. We can’t handle the heat.

Too many important players out for mine. We lack leadership that Pearce and Treacy bring.

Jackson isn't a primary ruck. There's always a difference there if Darcy is in, fit or not.

No true crumbing forwards. Imagine if Ballantyne was playing now at his peak.

Lot of daylight between our a, b and c grade players.
