There's a few rumours around Perth that Ross will leave Freo at the end of the year.
He is getting a bit stale. I would think that if he did leave that it would be on his own terms, as he is a great coach, and he is really building that side. Fremantle are trending upwards to my eye. Ross is probably a big reason for that. But Freo may want a change. It could be that both parties might want a change?

Gave some sad specifics about Yarran which wasn’t media released and then heard those specifics from someone completely unrelated weeks later.
Obviously things change but at the height of all this Lyon drama it was all about family for Lyon. Apparently wife and daughter left him and that’s the deciding factor. No idea if it’s all changed.

Haha. I don’t know his personal details so if inaccurate fair enough, but my source has nailed many things.
Maybe she was considering it or maybe the source connected own dots and exaggerated.
Maybe she said she wants to leave and go back to Victoria.

Surely if that was true he would have resigned when the harrasment case blew up? Would have been the ideal opportunity for both parties (Lyon and the club) to break free if what you're saying is correct.

Player development... could be.... but from what i have heard it is development of 2/3 of the list... the players that he believes can help him... the other players have their names taken off the board and thrown in the bin.
Just what people say through stories.
Don’t all coaches do that or similar though? Every club delists multiple players every year. If you look at Hawthorn there was numerous players that never broke into the side during your run of premierships. Are you suggesting that Clarko spent as much coaching energy on those players as his star performers?

I can only go by what people say... (i obviously don't know).
But, for example, Del Santo said Ross was great if you were in the best 25, but terrible if you weren't.... he didn't want to know you.
I think that is describing an extreme trait.... not the norm amongst coaches...
Anyway.... Ross might have changed since then, or you might say `who cares'.... it might irritate some supporters and not others... might be a flaw and a strength
