Gave some sad specifics about Yarran which wasn’t media released and then heard those specifics from someone completely unrelated weeks later.

Obviously things change but at the height of all this Lyon drama it was all about family for Lyon. Apparently wife and daughter left him and that’s the deciding factor. No idea if it’s all changed.

I don't know about the Yarran stuff but the highlighted definitely is not true.

The only part I could see Clarkson leaving is he would have the ambition and drive to be the first premiership coach at a club but in every other way he would just stay at Hawthorn. Don't see it happening.

Maybe they want to go back to Victoria and because of his 'indiscretions' doesn't really get a say now. Perhaps they'll force his hand? I actually don't know and only mentioned because my contact is close to the action and inner circle... but I guess even then those people speculate.

They work at the club in rehab... fairly close to ground zero I'd have thought. Usually gets the word.
