Really fascinating stuff.

Not sure why you're so salty about some pointing out the blindingly obvious. Lyon doesnt like shootouts and prefers to play extra men in defense instead of forwards. For that reason we'll always be a lower scoring team than teams who prefer to roll the dice.

Doesn't mean we wont win, it just means you shouldnt be expecting a single forward to kick 50+ goals.

There were too many dockers players leaving their man to run to the ball carrier, surely 2 is enough? The Eagles were very Hawk-like in that they were diligent in keeping their spacing from each other, it was easy for them to handball out of trouble all day.
Surely it's not that hard to work out if you see 2 of your teammates trying to corral an opposition player there's no need for you to go running over there and abandon your area..

Not sure you watch GC vs esseldon .I realize that they handball a lot especially Barlow , I think his jobs is to distribute the ball by hand to good runner or kicker.

We could use Sean Darcy as an inside mid, such is his speed and skill gathering a ground ball and shooting off a slick handball. He's Lachie Neale mkII.

I need more of sean Darcy , one think I never get with Ross his protection of kids. Sean Darcy can play all fourth quarter with limited minutes instead of playing only the 4 quarter. I will be happy with selection committee if logue and cox are in vs collingwood.

I will replace balic with grey , freo need a player that stop opposition momentum. That player use to be all time tagger Crowley . Now the modern game don't need a tagger but a player that can stop the flow of opposition.

Even Deluca getting a game in the forward line... but I think after that last lacklustre performance it's important that our near best 22 side gels and has an effective hitout.

I think freo need to be bold to cut d.pearce and suban out . tucker Langdon blakely weller is the next generation . age wise I think grey and deluca deserve to be the next GU, Barlow or deboer as you can only can draft a first round pick one year at a time .

Nothing to do with meima , if they is places for deboer and GU in 2013 , I believe there is spots for both deluca and grey. You can't even get two first round pick in a year , furthermore new draftee require time to mature their body.

Currently freo got 36 list players on the main list Yarran gone , a.pearce and Clarke only expected to be up for mid season . why playing a thin squad if ross going for 4 years rebuild plan .

Sheriden,sutty , d.pearce , suban need to think that their spot is under threat not what a big deal even deluca and grey perform well for peel they are rookie .

I see Tabs being dropped he was horrible, so maybe Cox gets a shot up there purely for Tabs being dropped, not actually because he wants to play Cox.

I would almost put money on him not playing little Griff and sticking with his old, slow and underperforming backline...

Because on the main list ,you already can put them on the selection from round 1 , most of other them play rookie list in pre season to see what they can do. I not sure but I do know spurr ,Barlow,c.pearce all rookie play in pre season game.

Well with Clarke injured, sando still a week away and Griffin not fit enough to finish a whole game rucking it wasn't really a surprise?

Do you disagree, do you think he will actually make some changes to the backline like he should after that horrible display? If so I think you'll be dissapointed.
