Laurence Angwin who brought along Karl Norman after a morning on the pingers.

What did shenanigans did Samo ever do (apart from refusing to kick over 15-20m)?

Maybe meant Chris Yarran?

Speaking of OF, one of the kids at nephew's school opened an account in a mate's name, took a bunch of photos of his own feet and posted to wherever foot fetish types hang, all as a prank.

The victim made $500.
I try not to judge other people's tastes.

But I just don't understand the foot fetish...

My bad memory again, ODNB was correct, it was Yas.(and unfortunately it was a good decision to cut him loose)

I rarely read or agree with the Herald Sun, but I caught the article today arguing that the silence around this exposes the AFL's double standards. Nailed it. It's bizarre, frankly.

Media seem to be losing patience at least...

Unfortunately, Double standards are now ingrained in Australian culture and is alive in every aspect of our daily lives. There is no "one" law for everyone.

He hasn't done anything wrong or illegal. His issue is going to be with his family and the embarrassment of such a blunder.

Of course I'm assuming the individual he was sending it to was consenting (privately 😄).

Having said that, he is already on an extended tenure and will be finishing up, the best thing he can do is just step down and all move on.

Thats the thing - if it was between consenting adults then isnt all the hooplah just moralising?

I don't know, maybe I'm old fashioned.

Put out a statement and step down until things get sorted instead of putting the club through the ringer.

Remember the old cliché, the club will always be bigger than the individual?

It’s only the HS on a “moral” crusade to keep this in the limelight.

It can be dealt with when he returns. His phone is off while on vacay..plus there’s bad internet reception ATM.

Don’t forget that LS has his own agency’s on the case (KGB, CIA, Mossad contacts) to bring the perpetrator/s down.
Rumour going around he wasn’t paying the protection money to the local mafiosi…they were going to hack off his pinky..turned into a X hack of his winky.

Also the tentacles of ASIO c/- an aggrieved ATO after the committee hearing..

...and we should never have moved on Bootsma and Samo.
And the other one that stole things and took speed before training.

Who is samo?

And this situation is not comparable to bootsma. Not sure who drugs are related to this either.

That’s a judgement call.
Many will justifiably argue otherwise if the “hack” can’t be proved.

Yes but unless he fesses up to that we're still at the hacker claim. No one can really disprove it whether they believe it or not and he'll have threats of legal action against anyone who challenges.

If I was betting, my money would be on a "please explain" followed by a finding of no wrongdoing, followed in turn by him stepping down for "personal and family reasons".

I was of this opinion but the fact that the woman tagged is a senior executive of a major sponsor makes it a more murky situation from a business ethics POV.

It’s an odd one for me because I’ve been pleased with his work as President but all stories about him outside of football club business don’t make for spectacular reading.

I’d rather him step down at this point, he’s far more likely to be a distraction than a useful contributor

It's wrong for the Herald Sun (or anyone) to make a connection to Carlton Respects. That's only relevant if it was unwelcome, and that is far from certain. While we can use our commonsense to doubt the hack story, there's no basis to assume if it was Luke that it was non-consensual.

I think whether this is wrong depends on your view on a number of things.

Marriage, infidelity etc.

Illegal depends on whether the woman tagged was a willing party in receiving any image.
