This one man band team should now sack the coach, make a play for Malthouse and play whatever kids are around to see who should be on the list next year. If Richo retires that wont even be enough to help them. Year over for Richmond - might as well start praying that the next 5 year plan will be better than the last.

As much as I like Richo and think he's been a champ, I also think a lot of his efforts don't help Richmond win games of football. Perhaps they will be better off without him, a bit like St Kilda after Lockett went to Sydney.

When big Richo goes on another one of his long leads, he is hard to ignore, but now the Tigers will need to look for other avenues. Should be a blessing in disguise.
