I suppose the good thing we can take out of this is that we are still in the Top 4 (I think).

We'be got no injuries or suspensions for hte second week but yeah. Oh well.

Gee, no shit? The five sides who have lost points would be backing the concept without a doubt. You may as well throw the rule book out the window if you're willing to add this rule in. I find it highly unfair that the efforts of three sides who have done the right thing all season would count for nothing if the teams who were penalised are able to get points back as a result of mismanagement combined with serial whinging about something that changed in the first place to combat more whinging in the previous season. What would be the point of having the regulations anyway? Everyone whinged and whined that the former rules had too many grey areas and too many gaps so they were changed to strengthen them up. Now they're too strong. I mean seriously WTF?

If you want the rule in, implement it from Christmas Day onwards (as per Equus' idea) and void any penalties incurred from then. The Wonders would keep their point, no-one else loses any others either and previous penalties remain (they were mainly clear cut breaches anyway). That way everyone stays happy and this issue is resolved.

All I'm asking for is some consistency of which you've shown none so far. You're willing to chop and change the rules to suit whenever you like, there's no point even having any rules at all if you're going to make it up as you go along. Like I said, my team's and Equus' team's good management skills are worth nothing because several teams couldn't do the right thing. The SFA is some fun for me (and no, I don't take it as seriously as what you're implying) and I highly enjoy playing and mucking around on here but the fun goes when shit decisions like this are made because the majority ****ed up and didn't like the consequences.

I lost three premiership points a few seasons ago for something similar, rick18 gave us less than 36 hours to post a side and I lost three points even though the threads were up three days late. Now teams can get away with it simply because there were enough complaints about their own incompetence.

And the Demons' situation comes down to one person and that was EBAIC. Rather than blaming the rules for their loss of point they should blame their captain who cracked the sads, departed abruptly and then left them in the shit. But no, it's the rules fault he was a ******** and ****ed off.

My personal opinion - Rules are gone. Got a good excuse, use it and get off. Rules are useless. I initially voted yes on the proviso that the Wonders get their point wiped and that all other penalty stands. They took my vote as a yes and has now basically repealed every single penalty, basically ignoring my suggestion.

I think all power has been monopolised and that the rules are useless now.
