Kingy trying to convince Jase to get his boys over - 9 minutes in - 14min

God bless Kingy, we are lucky to have him.

Whilst tongue in cheek, he's spot on. The club has a window now to influence the boys decision. It's great they got them in the rooms, but that's not going to be enough to make them not select Sydney, they do need to be more aggressive.

It's not like they shouldn't be familiar with what it looks like to not be selected...

Get the boys down to Melbourne for a few weeks training block. Put them up in a place with Sheez etc.

To be honest.

I'd be hosting Aidan at preseason for two weeks for the next two years.

Brisbane did it with Levi & Will Ashcroft and is allowed under current F/S rules.

No doubt Sydney will propose the same thing once they get wind of it.

What's the odds that when we get access to a couple of high end Father Sons in Sam Harris and Aiden McCartney will be the exact time that they change the draft rules so that we have to cough up more in order to get access to them...

You can just see we are going to get shit on. Exactly like we did with recent change to NGA members.

I suspect this one is slightly different from Blakey in that his old man works for the Giants so there wouldn’t be the same level of affinity with the club.

It would be interesting to know who he supports in a Sydney Derby.

The 'almost draft' for North.

A F/S tall haul of McCartney, Cochrane and Le Cras (son of Brent) would be ridiculous even a few years out.

The 3 of them are probably the best 3 talls in that pool at this point.
Cochrane spent 8 years on our bloody list. We should get some sort credits for it.
