Don’t worry about the McCartney boys. They’ve been up in NSW for years but they’ve always been North boys. Jase is special for North.

If I remember correctly, Nth was a bit of a lifeline for Jase after being a high draft pick that was much maligned and moved on by the Pies.

I’m sure there’s some gratitude for the role Nth played there.

Could be wrong though.

If Aiden is any good - they’ll offer Jase the world to get him

What can they offer him, he's at the cross town rival. That he is at GWS and they are in the Swans academy is pretty telling IMO. They're always here and happy when we have our father son days.

I'm sure there was a lot of support and resources post Bali that meant a lot too.

Yep, complete opposite of the Blakey situation.

Clarko felt he owed us from stuff that happened in the late 80s. Reckon similar vibes here.

Unless we end up with another two quality picks, there probably will only be less than five players taken between our pick 62 and the second pick in the rookie draft.

You get a bit of additional flexibility with the rookie spots, so that gives the club some incentive to take River Stevens in the National Draft.

I’d keep the rookie spot free

Get him and others to train over summer to see who wins the ssp spot
Still be taking Parfitt an experienced player more experience the better .
I don't want to see players continue in 2025 getting automatic picked games.
If this club is serious in bringing experience start practicing what it preachers as supporters are sick of the BS spin and want change.
At least if we 2,6,12 or 18 on the ladder give the supporters some hope when attending games and hopefully we don’t lay down and get embarrassed like that has been happening.
