The great man's progeny (Dusty Geister) has been carving it up for Bendigo Pioneers in TAC Cup and Irymple in the Sunraysia League and has nominated for the draft.
What a shame he's not eligible to be taken as a father son pick due to the legendary Paul Geister not playing enough games for North, it'll be a bigger loss than Josh Kelly, Jack Buckley and Nick Blakey combined.

The josh kelly rule 50-100 games. Just so we couldn’t have him, rule changed in his bottom age year. He had a stella bottom age year too.. just change the rule so gws can get him.. makes me sick

Breaks the heart.

A mere 96 games short of the threshold. It's all politics.

If he's half the player his dad was the lucky club that grabs him will have to invest in a larger trophy cabinet. And add more security.

Because a Geister can draw a crowd that makes Beatlemania look like a Gold Coast game.

He’ll end up at the swans.
F*cking bookmark it. I’m not sure if North have the stomach or the know-how to guarantee a positive outcome for North that most other teams would in a similar position.

I guarantee that this was the big four, they would be using the media to tar the AFL and the northern academies for the rort it is.

We only get spec or dud father sons. We arent picking up Jasons boys. Aint no way. Not a chance in ****ing hell. Unless FS nominations supersede the academy. Never going to happen

just like the last one did huh? Wouldn’t hold my breath. He’s in an academy, he’ll feel he owes them, he wont want to leave his state, his mates, his family so when presented with those choices, he aint moving to Melbourne

You believe they’ll play for North?
I do. Well, if they’re good enough. It’s likely only Aidan that is in that category for McCartney’s boys.

just like the last one did huh?

Blakey at no point identified himself as a North anything. At a father son day where he actually came to he referred to the other father sons as them.

McCartney’s boys on the other hand have been to multiple father son days and have been seen at North games in North gear.

You’re letting one w***er spoil your view on all potential father sons.

I do.

No, 2 - because we tried to bring one back with a lucrative offer.

2 who would be top 10 players for us. But thats alright.

We’ll wait and see when it comes to draft year. A lot can change in his under 18 year.

Had we been able to take Kelly as a father son he’d have played his career here.
