Just make it public and let the man coach the season out I’m not sure what the big deal is - would be a mature approach by everyone.

It’s not working out we’re going a different way next season, have some fun and see what you can get out of the players this week and possibly the next couple if things fall our way.

It would be weird but winning a couple of finals doesn’t change anything - just make it official already, better for everyone if he has a confirmed send off game

Given the competitive nature of the industry. Im struggling to understand how a team that is still a live chance of playing finals and beyond (both long-shots given current form) is on the cusp of sacking its coach. Isn't the biggest story in the game right now.

Sure, most of the rumours seem to be generated from this very board. But that hasn't ever precluded media types running with stories from here before.

It's hard to believe that if the rumours of a rejected payout that are floating about enough to catch the attention of posters here and they're willing to post them. Then it's also hard to believe that they haven't moved beyond those circles and into the inbox of a journalist.

I think I'll stroke out before any announcement is made.

If a journo is to run with this they’d want to be concrete. If you get this wrong you will burn a few bridges.

Also as bad shape as we are in board members aren’t leaking to the media like the Essendon aabd Carlton boards do.

We have generally kept a pretty tight ship in regard to media leaks.

I just went to see a medium and she put me in contact with the ghost of Teddy Whitten, who told me that Bevo will be sacked this year. I said "Thanks for the info, E.J. Do you know this because you've been listening in on the board meetings or because ghosts can see the future? How does it all work?"
