What a last impressive three weeks, bevo he got the boys cooking at the right time of the season

JUH has in the last three weeks probably played three of five of his career best games.

Before that he was probably being considered for a few weeks in the VFL.

He was never being considered for the VFL, don't be ridiculous.

He was still in the top 10 in the league for total shots on goal across the league even after the end of his "poor" form.

Again, I'm not saying his form hasn't upturned and he's been playing brilliant football, but the fact that he is isn't that much of a surprise given that his form was not actually as bad as people were making it out to be (he was still having multiple shots per game, even if he was having some clangers too), and easily explained by the fact he had to take some time away from the rhythms of in-season football with personal leave. It's not as if he was scoring 0.0 or 0.1 or whatever in consecutive games or whatever.
