Los Angeles has just changed the majority of their 2028 Olympic venues, notably moving the swimming to SoFi Stadium creating the largest Olympic swimming venue in history.

It’s nice to see that even 4 years out, you can have large scale changes happen. They obviously have a lot more already built infrastructure, but as long as we can get changes to happen next year we should be fine.

Oh well now, that changes everything.

They're very non-commital on anything they're doing to not have heat put on them before the election. All they've publicly said is they'll refer it to another infrastructure review.

I'm thinking the same, the new Cowboys stadium in Townsville only got built because Johnathan Thurston demanded it in his post Grand final speech after the Cowboys won it.

IMO we could get 50,000 for a game against the Pies and circa 40K for other big drawing clubs at the new Chris Fagan Coliseum in Victoria Park.
