Game day information leaked by Dogs player to Adelaide before Elimination Final

I do think we need to hold off burning Talia and the Crows at the stake. Lachie Hunter apparently threw a game...until it was found out his mate placed a $10 bet on his sportsbet account.

This could go either 2 ways - Talia maliciously leaked real info, and then we can start the fires, or Talia said **** all and it's a storm in a teacup

So, the Crows have confirmed they received some information. Yet didn't report said information to the AFL integrity unit.
They will need a lawyer.... Who would want to face Gordon on the war path!

Jesus , accept that you lost the game ffs
Direct quote from the statement from the club posted before your post:

"While we do not believe this matter had a material bearing on the game or the result"

If the same thing happened in reverse you'd be disappointed in your club if they didn't follow it up.

Must've been Talia letting slip to his brother that the Doggies know they're our finals bitches.

I'm going wth storm in a teacup and crows banned from next 4 drafts.

The AFL Integrity Unit will calculate a suitable punishment after looking at the liquidity of our balance sheet.

For the good of the game.

Its more complex than that, the plan is when we have the ball everyone run forward of the ball. When they have the ball everyone panic and run back the other way.

With those tactics we did well conceding the 7th least points in the league.

Adelaide should be penalised if they withheld information, its a clear breach of the rules made by the AFLs masters, betting companies. Some form of draft/trade based penalty would be appropriate, maybe take away their rights to match RFA players for example.

lol :p

Good kicking is good football

If you kick straight you will win (wink wink)

And what has this got to do with a player breaking his employment duties and giving out confidential information to the opposition?

I would be fired from my job immediately if I were to hand out company information to our direct competitors.

The thing is Adel keep hurting their reputation by repeatly causing scandals that they could had easily avoided.

The real question is how will this affect them long term with the other clubs rather than what the AFL will do towards any possible sanctions (doubt that will occur).
Well we don't even know what we were supposedly told at this point, could be a whole lot of nothing for all we know. Let's wait and see

The Dogs have every right to request an investigation, and they made it clear they're not looking to use it as an excuse. They're the wronged party (if true).

Talia's motivation a bit of a mystery: Even if the Crows were happy to receive / use any info, it wouldn't inspire much faith in his character/loyalty, would it?
