So ... West Coast in Perth after our bye ... few teams have won after a bye ... looks like we had a good break with most players getting away from footy on the weekend.

Our form at Subiaco over the journey has been quite good.

I'm hoipeful of a good performance but expect a Weagles win by 40-50 points.


We gotta control NicNat and Big Cox, otherwise it gets real ugly.

Rhode on 5CC has said that Broges and Trengove will be on the ball together to match the West Coast duo - an interesting move ... I like it.

Hartlett and Gray and to some extenet Boak, have been way too inconsistent this year. Brogan (with support from Jackson) needs to dominate Cox/NicNat (which wont happen) and Schulz would need to kick 5 for uis to win.

Weather is a little all over the shop at the moment. It's drizzled this morning and now there's some lovely sunshine shining bright. The sticking point is it looks like there's some decent clouds rolling in from the Indian Ocean.

Should make for some tricky conditions at Subiaco.

All I want from this game from our boys is, less turnovers, improvement on accuracy and total concentration for 4qtrs because if they don't, it will be a massacre.....

I think we could beat them somewhere else, but to me a win at subiaco seems unlikely! Hopefully the boys have been working on their skills this week.

Looking forward to it, Ports only game of the year at Subi so pretty exciting for us in Perth. Weather looked great from my house and then I drove through a shower on the freeway so could be interesting, if anything showers should favour us though.

Hopefully we can remember to stick a player in the space on their goalside for ruck situations as they tapped to advantage so many times against the Crows and broke through easily.

I can't see us winning the midfield so I'm struggling to see a win but here's to hope.

I sense a massive second half fade away like we've become accustomed to. The big ground over there will test our fitness which we have all seen is lacking this year. Saying that i hope the boys cause an upset but I'll just be happy if we play well and keep it under 5 goals.
