He got some decent lift!! I really hope he chucks some bulk on, because he could be a revelation!
What were the other reasons and why weren't they an issue when we had the breeze at our backs?

I like Beau Wilkes, would love to see him get another gig at AFL level.
Good blue at half time, but don't think any Eagles were getting involved. Would have been good to see Broomey throwing some haymakers.
You can't be serious. Clearly we played better in the 2nd and 4th quarters than in the 1st and 3rd quarters. One reason that we didn't play as well was because we weren't as clean with our disposals and we seemed to lose more clearances than when we had the wind. Why was this the case, well how am I meant to know? In case you haven't realised teams often play better in some quarters than others. Why did Freo play so poorly in the last quarter last week? Why did we play poorly in the last half last week?
That's all well and good, but when both teams are clearly dominant with the breeze(22 goals scored with the breeze to four kicking against it) it seems probable that it's the main reason.
21 were scored with the breeze not that it makes much difference. Yes the wind was the main reason but I said it was not the sole(only) reason.

Geez you are just never happy are you! Reading this gameday thread it is incredible to think we have such wonderful supporters, who needs an opposition with bloody whingers like this. Piss them out and bag the players one minute, sucking up to them the next. Everyone's an armchair afl player.
