At the game, Freddy and Banners have been passengers. Acres and Tucker are average players. Ryan is not a good decision maker. Aish and Hambling are a bit rusty.

Ryan pretty much held our whole backline up when Pearce and Hamling were out. Give the bloke a break.

Close enough if good enough, and that's the big query.

Seeing exactly why Brodie couldn't get a regular game at GC (let that sink in)

More evidence why Tucker dropped in the draft.

Freddy can't get involved and doesn't work hard enough defensively.

Serong is off today.

Banfield isn't up to it.

On the plus side Lobb has been great! So too Logue.

Ryan and Brayshaws working their arses off.

After a shit start, Acres has done a few good things.

Too many bad ball used in the team. I like what Brodie brings as a big body, ST Kilda bullied our midfield last time without Fyfe. However we can't have a Brodie with tucker, that's too many chain killers.

Defence has looked a lot better this week so far.

He has been awesome defensively, one of the best on field but his decision making is too slow. How can we play quick footy when it takes 10 seconds to make a decision.

Good: Switta, Brayshaw, Darcy, Meek, Pearce, Logue, Aish, Lobb

Bad: Serong (seems off today), Tucker, Chapman, Walters

Meh: Brodie, Clark, Acres, Banfield

him and Tucker slow our ball movement down so much, ibbo like time to make a decision

Getting a thorough reminder of why I avoid gameday threads like the plague.

I'll take the efficiency and accuracy after last week - just need to improve some of the basics and decision making in the centre and get the defenders to stop drifting too far forward and leaving them so much open space on the rebound.

Brayshaw and the defenders pretty immense, although Membrey's ability to consistently overcome his general mediocrity and murder us remains baffling.

You’re easily pleased.

There’s nothing out there that screams “we’ve improved”

He does do lots of good stuff and considering he has played bugger all AFL I don’t mind him having a crack .
Wants to move it fast
Only way to win these days
Agreed. Absolutely much prefer him to make some mistakes along the way as he gets his radar right and his knowledge of what passes he can make and what he can't now. Happy, Young is playing well and this is still a development year for him given the footy he has missed so far in his first couple of years.

Glad we are in front but we are a long long way away from the the top teams and have a lot of work to do.I would love the umpires to put a stop to thowing the ball it does my head in,nearly every center clearance is from a blatant throw or two or three

Saints have come to play but we're doing ok.

This is the sort of umpiring I like - where they let most of the shit go instead of you having your heart in your mouth every time there's a contest.

It's nice to be on the right side of the 'accuracy makes a difference' ledger for once.

I really like Brodie, he's far exceeded my expectations.

Clark needs to stop getting his ambitions mixed up with his capabilities. This isn't U16's where you need to be the eye-catching star with every possession.

Best game I've seen Acres play for us so far I reckon.
