Thousands of naive rookie kids buy drugs every weekend, hardly any get busted. People will approach strangers in a club and ask 'got any **** ?' no qualms.

You have to be incredibly unlucky to get caught on your first attempt, or rolling the dice frequently enough to increase your chances.

Honestly, just being born is having opportunity handed to you. Just because someone enjoyed a bit of success for a period doesn't make them any more/less vulnerable than anyone else.

Personally, I have no sympathy for many people at all, I don't distinguish between varying degrees of success. If anything I hold more contempt for the losers that have never done anything and expect everything to be handed to them whilst they begrudge those that had a crack at something.

Gavin Crosisca was never a star. That's like me claiming that Peter Wilson was a star for the Eagles.

Honestly, the only reason I think they do it is because 'STAR' takes up less space than 'PLAYER'.

But then again, it IS News Ltd, and they probably think that if they make Crosisca out as a star, then more people will think the AFL is corrupt and the people will flock to their sport.
