Re: Geelong and District Football League 2

he will try but no one at winch or ex winch will go with him, why would reid leave a premiership team to play at blue west, and kitchen would be back at winch before he went to west...
Reid's brother matty got him out 2 winch , and kitch got hards out there , price only managed to bring the modda boys ( money well spent $$$$$$$)

Re: Geelong and District Football League 2

Not sure reid will be playing this year at all. Didn't he do his knee playing basketball the other day. As for Kitch, most likely to stay at Werribee. If Winch has a chance it's a bloody small one. Love to have em' both back though. Good start to pre season tonight. 32 players. At least the balls rolling. Some good yound types with enthusiasm. There is light..................

reid didnt do his knee. any new recruits there skanky have u signed anybody

haven't signed any superstars, but have got an even spread of recruits. Looks as though the youngsters will figure heavily this year down at winch. Have got 4 experienced heads coming after xmas which will bolster the line up. The skank may pull a few rabbits out of the hat in the near future. Looking heavily for a CHF though. Some good incentives on offer too for the top 5 on game day I'm hearing...If reid didn't do his knee maybe he'll don the blues jumper again???

hey skank i hear matt day is signed with the belmont lions as well as mills as reserves coach

The lions hit the track for the first time last night.
it was nice to see the existing players plus the new faces.
There was roughly 25 - 30 in the field.
Training will shift back to to the Winters resort for Wednesday nights.
If any body is interested thy are welcome.
Good luck to all clubs in the silly seson with recruiting.

The Tamer.

Howdy Tamer , just wondering how matty day looked on the track after a big summer on the piss:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:go burns

looking very fit, training the house down-already done his biggest pre-season ever

day was best at training by far, would be very dissapointing if the rumors about him signing with belmont are true, also good to see kitchen there, maybe a return to the blues for him, would be handy.

I see in the Independent that they described Geelong West assistant coach Paul Messer as a "former U/18 All Australian" player... interesting considering he didn't play Falcons in either 03 or 04.

Re: Geelong and District Football League 2

Whats Priceys claim to fame?? why is he talked about as a gun coach?
He was an old fashioned "good ordinary footballer". Coached well when he was at Winch and extracted a fair bit from a middle to lower order list just missing the finals a couple of times. Ordinary special comments man.

Heard today that Woods,Watts(both) and Hickelton are looking at GFL. With North Shore being in the front running as they have ties with an ex coach who is still involved there. Would be a very good get for the Seagulls big loss for the Tigers.

Heard from a guy who plays cricket with woods that from what he knows he wont be playing this year, due to work. He said he wasnt sure if it was going to be the whole season or not. But looked like he would prob not be playing and if he did it would only be home games. Would be a fair loss for the tigers.

Also why would the GDFL continue to play the finals at st.albans when there is a ground such as geelong west in the area? It would seem like the logical place to go, mainly as the size of the ground at least resembles the size of most of the grounds played on the GDFl. Unlike the monster that is st.albans, am glad i have never had to play out there.

Heard that as well from a fellow cricketer. Has to focus on his farm...

be interesting how opposition clubs treat Price had a fair to be to say about other clubs continally bagging him the way he talks you would think he has played AFL i know alot of players would have bypassed interleague if he it was on , overated as player and coach had unlimited budget at Winch and did nothing be no different at West!

Lazer signed at the devils, its great to have him back one of the best footballers corio has produced and you couldnt meet a nicer bloke.
